Upset about customer support stance

You can have a record of a mail being sent, but there not being anything attached to it, or you could have sent mail, thought you were sending 25k and in fact only sent 25 copper. Blizz can trace all money transfers, vendor purchases, disenchants etc etc. So if its not in the logs, theres just no evidence of you having sent the gold in the amounts your saying you did. Beyond telling you they have no logs of the gold being sent there really isnt anything else Blizz -can- do. If you be patient, keep in mind its the weekend so you would have to wait till the blues are back in operation, they sometimes will give you a breakdown of where that gold went. Thats something they may do simply to provide clarity on the matter, but it shouldnt be expected as something that will always happen.
In the mean time, do a full UI reset to rule out any display issues, these can happen from time to time where items in your bags etc display incorrectly - generally caused by a conflicting add on.

You typed it, but I thought it, not gonna lie here.

To be clear, it is YOUR narrative of what happened to you.

When 1 plus 1 suddenly equals 53, yes people question it. That is what this entire thing is adding up to right now.

And yet, despite many requests, you have not provided any responses. To be fair, most of us suspect why.

It’s like rain, on your wedding day
Ironic huh?

I absolutely assure you, the customer is NOT always right.

And yet, in my personal experience, I completely disagree. I had one pretty decent issue that took multiple tickets to get resolved. Not once did I yell at them or treat them disrespectful. In the end, when it turned out I was right, they credited me some game time. Time I never asked for I might add. That is making things right. The funny thing though, most great experiences never get heard about. I have been posting here since mid Legion I think? I forget, anyway, this little tidbit of service I almost guarantee none of the regular posters even knew about.

And yet I have read multiple accounts of absolutely plausible reasons this happened. You just choose to ignore them or not accept them. Your response does not make them plausible, however.

You have absolutely no right to treat the GM staff like garbage. If your initial response in this thread is any indication, fully supported by subsequent responses, they threatened this because you did not accept the answer and kept opening tickets, or you verbally abused them. Those are the only two reasons I know of for them to threaten account action. Once again, not accepting an answer does not suddenly make it not the answer.

I’m just enjoying my , curious to see how many laps this circular argument is capable of.

Huntress - yes, a reset has been recommended and I will try that. Your explanation is ten times better than any response I received from Blizz. Still doesn’t fit with what actually happened. I guess I’m just SOL on the gold I worked so hard for. The main issue now is the way they treat paying customers. The gold is secondary to the bad experience I had. Again, I haven’t had a reason to put in a lot of tickets, but in the past I was treated a lot better on whatever issues came up. No one here thinks any bad reviews are valid. That’s completely ridiculous. I’ve just been reading a lot about similar experiences.

Sweet heavens what a muck. In all of the time you’ve been in here with the back and forth, you could have reset your UI several times over. Everything else is absolutely moot until you do your due diligence.

You’re entitled to feel what you’d like, but posting and posting and posting again when you could maybe be doing something that could have resolved all of this and not gone on for
again I’ll say sweet heavens. The OP had 20 posts. 88 posts of people TRYING to help you and you’re not having any of it.

Try the reset. Take a breath. Go from there.

Is no one reading my responses? I said that I will 3 or 4 times now. I am not currently in a place where I can do that. There are a ton of unnecessary comments here. I have only defended myself against the ones who are not trying to help, only vilify me. I even said I’d like to close the issue.

It’s easy for it to get lost in all of these bloody posts. I’ll apologize that I missed it, but it doesn’t help only seeing your continuing on and on. People are entitled to their opinions. I’m sorry you and your friends are so displeased with how things are, but when that’s all i keep seeing how you and your friends this, leaving the game that. I wish you well in wherever your travels take you if they lead you from this game and this company.

But before you keep going on about how terrible Blizzard is, please try and do the UI reset before you reply any further - when you’re able to. It may be as simple as that to fix - completely on your side of things, mind you, and you would owe all of the maligned GMs and players here trying to help an apology.

AHHH A ZOMBIE THREAD

At least I’m not responsible for the zombie this time.

(Seriously, start a new thread if you wish for assistance)

We’ve seen cases where if you submit a ticket right after you send the errant mail explaining the mistake, a GM can get you the items or gold back.

Not if the person who received the mail opens it.

And it doesn’t sound like this is a case of the sender realizing a mistake immediately, but rather it was hours or days after the fact.

Correct. If the person hasn’t opened it.

Just saying Blizz can help if you accidentally send mail to the wrong person, but you ought to submit the ticket right away.

Again, there is absolutely zero indication that that’s what happened here.

Didn’t say there was. I was just responding to Perl’s comment about mail going to the wrong place.

So, splitting hairs as usual.

If you’d like to hash this out privately, I welcome the discussion. This isn’t the place for it, I won’t help you derail another thread.

Yet YOU chose to respond rather than simply ignore my initial post and move on.

I think it’s past time to close this one up.

Anything Blizzard can comment on outside their logs is conjecture.

I understand you’re looking for an answer for why you’ve experienced this disparity, but I’m not sure you really want speculation.
