I will never give up hope for standing upright. My back aches and I’m sure I’ll eventually find a good spine to replace it with.

Neither will I! I still hold out hope…either for upright Forsaken, or having Nathanos Human models as a customization option. Either way I’ll be happy!
But both would be incredibly nice.

Downright Forsaken Models, to be sure.
Blood elf men are in the same boat, so I relate to this whole heartedly… we both got shafted in the customisation overhaul. I’m not going to get into why Blood elf men in perticular are lacking and desperately in need for more options becuase that’s not what this thread is about, but I will go into the Forsaken though.
Forsaken didn’t really ‘gain’ anything, they had the face feature assets unlocked so you could pick and chose instead of having a list of preset which did open up a few more options but in essence they are all fairly similar.
The bones/no bones option is fantastic and I fully praise blizz for that, but they needed more. an upright/hunched toggle would be great and I can garantee you most Forsaken would pick the upright, showing how popular of a choice that is.
But we need more! the Forsaken had possibly the most potential of all the races yet got the least attention Give them more features of other races, like tusks to play as an undead orc (or half orc because scrawny) Give them elf ears so they can be undead elves, things like this would go a LONG way to letting the forsaken feel more varied.
The new hairs were also great, but give them more like that, Like, imagine if you could play a shadow priest floating around with elf ears and the bansee’s hairstyle blowing in the wind behind you? That would be badass!
Or if they gave you a ghoul face option to pair with the ghoul hairstlye, bones on show and hunched for a more ghoul like appearance, again badass.
Give them stitched together body parts to have a more ‘abomination’ style aesthetic
And facial hair, that they can pair with the no bones and upright options to have more of a Nathanos style look…
Again, Forsaken just have SO MUCH potential, you can draw inspiration for all the different undead that are in the game and yet… they are the single most lacking base race in terms of customisation.

I was surprised there’s some stitched face options but no matching body options. Could even include a few with varying shades of skin colors for the patches.
The facial hair from the other races looks great on Forsaken too. That’s definitely something that should be included.

If upright animation is added and the mouth breathing animation could be disabled, I’d go back to playing UD in a heartbeat. Well, not on this character, obviously.

The big thing I’d also like to see with more ‘bony’ options is for it not to clip the transmog. Always thought the elbow and knee joints always poking through garments to be odd…

Forsaken hairstyles that aren’t matted down with hairspray and moose. It’s time. Hair is dead whether or not the body it’s growing out of is alive or dead. When you die it doesn’t make your hair look like wet paint

There just needs to be a hair pass overall.
In fact, I think we’re long overdue for hairs to become useable across all races. We started with the “mirror” race haircuts, might as well do it across them all. It doesn’t affect the silhouette too much anyways.
Other games do it, cough, you know the one.

I’ve been hunched over for well over a decade. Do you have any idea how much you are going to bash your head suddenly being a foot taller?
Enough that you’ll get concussed and forget that you are not hunched over and do it all over again. You’re going to end up in the hospital unaware of who the president is.
There are ample other taller models that do not bash their head.
That said, the hunch and upright options should be on a toggle so people can pick which they prefer.
