Oh wow, they made the walking animation for 2 entire body types.
The rest of the animations are the problem, Forsaken are much more hunched over than Orcs ever were, they will have to redo most of them. And I don’t think they wanted to do that, that’s probably why they abandoned this after making the walking animations.
And considering shoulderpads don’t sit right on Orcs still, I’m not very optimistic that Blizzard is going to ever to the time and money to redo the Forsaken animations.
So what is it that you feel this contributes to the conversation at hand?

As I say in the Give Worgen tails thread. All races should have more options, so you the player, that allow you to play with the character you envision.

I don’t care if they’re hunched over tbh I just want undead Tauren, night Elf, orc, gnome, troll, etc skins.
But more options can not be a bad thing.

We don’t need Upright Undead Models.
We need Undead Models of every race. Undead should have a skin for every race since what?? Wrath. Since the release of DK’s The Undead Race should have had the option to choose any skin as the base (while still keeping the Undead Racials obviously). It only makes sense that. Along with Sylvanas raising undead by force since what Cata?
I should be able to play an Undead Troll. Or Undead Pandarian
Edit the only exception might be Worgen, if the Curse doesn’t persist through death.

It’s possible to want upright undead, and undead racial options too.

If they did Upright undead it would be Human models because we know… it’s blizzard. I’d rather see Forsaken stay as it is, then them add Human Undead models along with the other races.
If a straight-backed option is added, I think it should probably use the new body type system and have additional changes that increase their “undeadness”. The whole reason Forsaken hunch is because their muscles and ligaments have decayed, which gives them their zombie-like shambling gait and makes them look distinctly undead, and so if they’re standing up straight they should probably have something else standing in for the hunch that makes them visually unmistakable as undead.
