So if I don’t want the stupid tree that is clearly winning, all I have to do is not buy Shadowlands until the mount is released? That’ll be easy.

You can take your toys and go home. Or you can be a grown up and just not USE the mount if you don’t like it. I don’t like the Horde trike, so I don’t use it, but it’s still a mount towards achievements.

Wow so much time has passed already. Didn’t realize until checking in again and seeing the poll is ending soon.
I hope we get tome as a crafter mount sometime. Tree will be interesting. I’m going to be boring and use it on my night elf druid 
It’d be cool if it was a 2-person mount–one on each shoulder. Even if not, it’d be cool if we rode on the shoulder.
Shoulders are doubtful, but riding on the head like people are predicting would be neat. I know it’s been pointed out “Gronn model” But they already have the entire tree model in game and something that can easily look like a saddle on top of it in some of the new models. I’m excited to see what they do with the mount special. What if they gave them some sort of whacky dance? Or, like some have mentioned, change with seasons.

I think the Ancient, caterpillar and the book sound best, but If I had to choose just one, I say the caterpillar because it sounds so unique. Especially since it can have neat patterns or fuzz or what-have-you.

i’m torn, i like the wondering ancient, but the nerubian sounds awesome and then you add at the end a slime??A SLIME!? dude…a slime mount?! oh god! i want that slime mount too! but the ancients and the nerubians are so cool! but the slime! the slime is just unic…oh god…
Thank you Maleficent! This helps a great deal. The cat being translucent and having visible bones changes a lot in my mind. As does seeing the caterpillar. Its not nearly as dopey as it was in my head.
I was never voting for the book. But even seeing the saddle on the spine as opposed to inside is an option that didn’t cross my mind.

After learning they have no ideas (that they can show us yet) of what the new mount would look like, I have done much thinking based on the names alone. It will have to be the Wandering Ancient. That said; however, Once mount is summoned, it should appear instantly, and the remaining mount time should be the animation lifting the player up to its shoulder, or just simply lifting the player up in its hands and carrying the player. Now that, will be the most awesome mount Blizz will have ever made, up to this point anyway.

I’m guessing this is suppose to distract us from noticing that Shadowlands is full of bugs and is in no way balanced.

So i love the idea of a community voted mount and all, but was really wondering about the losing options. With the winner being given for free, will there be a way to purchase the others (IE a $30 bundle for the other 4?) I really wanted the anubian but he’s dead last and lord knows i am not a gold farmer. thanks!
