Yah i will remember this. And if they keep up that curve with shadowlands of not listening to player feedback, and just doing whatever they want. Changing things at last minute in dragonflight. Well, i don’t think they will have as many players as phil spencer is hoping for.
We want more players playing in the next several years. Well, this will only chase away players, rather than rope players in and keep them roped in. Like, lets not pull the rip cord. Lets not listen to that. Lets not make it so you can swap covenants on the fly, like people were asking for. Lets not listen to our players, and we will see how good dragonflight will be.
Been trying to get into normal fated raids and cant because of ilevel. So effectively casuals have to work twice as hard to aquire than someone already at higher ilevel. First we have to raid to get gear up to be able to be taken into normals. Then we have to find a normal fated group doing full clears . This is ridiculous. Why does blizzard hate casual raiders. why make LFR fated if u wont include the mount? we dont all have that kind of time. Change the requirement blizz, please.
I literally didn’t touch a single raid until last week when season 4 started. I have had zero issues finding full clear normal groups as a casual DPS.
Find someone just starting a group and stick with them. Ezpz
its not easy. my wife and i have been signing up in groups and not taken. most of the groups want an easy clear so they only take the best players with the highest ilevels. we have both been running dungeons and fated lfr with very little luck in obtaining gear. we finally got into a normal last night and after clearing 3 bosses we wiped once and group started to fall apart. they decided to make it a 10 man and basically kicked all the lower ilevel people. its always easy to say its easy to get in a group when your in an active raid guild, but when ur not, your rarely given a chance. i am never looking to be carried and put in as much work as i can into my toon, ive only been back a month and a half and have gotten my toon to a respectable level considering the drop rates suck as bad as they do. this game is supposed to be fun not stressful. and then here comes blizzard to enable the elitists by rewarding them and crapping on casuals. they encourage the “cutthroat” behavior and then tell everyone to be nice. sigh…
It’s been some time since I led a guild, but I rarely took package deals. It created chaos in the roster. If one player was good, but other players in the package deal were bad-I ran the risk of intentionally saddling the raid with bad players in order to keep the good player. I’m not here to tell you that is your specific case, but understand that playing with another/others runs this specific risk.
Guild recruitment is an actual thing. You might have to transfer or faction change to find a guild that meets your specific need (time, day; package deal etc) but I promise you, if you take the time to look you’ll find a group that will accomodate you.
Agreed, and if it’s stressing you out, stop playing. Seriously. I’ve had to take a step back on occasion and am coming upon that very thing again quite soon.
This is such a tired talking point on the GD. No one is here to crap on anyone. They’re here to play the game in such a way that benefits them the most. It’s silly and absurd to expect to be included if your inclusion inhibits that. Turning your nose up and calling people names due to your current lack of success is going to make you feel better short term, but it’ll solve no issues long term. It’s intellectually dishonest.
Yep. It’s a game. However, it’s an extremely long running game. An MMO. It does require a minimum of effort in order to carve out a place for yourself amongst the millions of others playing.
Good luck and I hope you find what you’re looking for in game. Truly.
I’ve literally never done a single thing with my guild.
I haven’t raided at all this expansion before the patch.
I haven’t had to commit more than 3 hours a week to getting the mount.
Find someone just started a group, join, help summon people, be friendly. It’s that easy.
Erm.
You know that people don’t just automatically have a higher ilvl than you, right? People are doing M+ for gear. Almost all of my gear is M+ gear. No one hates “casuals.” There’s a minimum amount of gearing to be done before getting into raids. You can start a group on your own if you like, then you won’t have to worry about not getting invited.
All good valid points. No expectations as far as inclusion. Just pointing out for some of us its not as easy. Typically I like to take my time and really just enjoy the content but with season 4 having an eventual end, it puts a little extra pressure out there when its not really needed. They already have mythic keystone mounts for the hardcore, why not just include this mount with all levels of fated? Thats really all im saying😊
Sure, fair point. I will advise you though, that you have at least til December to get this done.
There’s more than 172 mounts in SL with less than 162 of them requiring any sort of rating or raiding to obtain. /shrug
These mythics are awful too, taking the worst of the old dungeons and making it current season is very unenjoyable. Please don’t do this in Dragonflight
You picked HORRIBLE instances for the new mythics. Grimrail…SERIOUSLY??? It sucked from the beginning and sucks even worse now. Why would you pick some of the most hated instances and force them on us instead of coming up with something new and interesting? This is the worst idea you’ve had since I’ve been playing and that’s been since BC was released.
keep the cat mount on normal raid difficulty. incentive for these clowns to actually have to be challenged to get something and not handed it simply because they purchased the game. most of them will be AFK during the LFR raid anyways.
Another content update, another disappointment for velf players. When we will get our full customization pass like nightborne?
Why would they want to please 95% of their player base? They want them to play Diablo Immortal. DONT YOU HAVE A PHONE?
Removed unity rep requirement just let us make it, this item will be pointless anyways in two months…make the end at least somewhat alt friendly. Save the shadowlands.
They couldn’t even bother designing a new PvP set. This season feels so dull.
Yes, Blizz caters to 5% of the player base. They care little about the players who can’t commit to 40 hours a week to this game.
What happened last time they tried to push LFR players to play normal+, what was that expansion where they removed real tier from LFR, oh yeah, WoD, and what happened, did LFR players move up, no they left and the next expansion, Blizz put real tier back in LFR.
Blizz is just showing they haven’t changed and why people shouldn’t trust a single thing they say.
What are trainwreck Blizz!!!
