Please go back to charity pets instead of promoting streamers. If I had to donate to a charity that I am willing to support that’s one thing (such as the recommendation of St. Jude’s a couple posts above). Paying streamers is something else entirely and I have no interest in subscribing to their channels.

The kite pet was tolerable because I could turn on the stream then mute it right before going AFK (such as leaving the house to run errands, which is more enjoyable than watching streamers). I’d check my progress towards the kite drop when I got back to the computer.

The article on the website has a list of channels that are eligible to earn credit towards the pet. It doesn’t sound like Twitch Prime would be eligible since it’s not a specific channel.
