[Updated May 27] Add the Omnium Folio to Your Library of Tools Against the Void

They added a “skip” to acquiring and leveling the cloak eventually; maybe they’ll do the same for this down the road.

I think you had to do it at least once. I just hate this kind of nonsense. They are not fun, not fulfilling or even original.

This looks incredibly boring with no creativity and just more timegating nonsense that, surprise, lasts JUST longer than 30 days to go into 2 sub periods. What a coincidence.

A copy paste feature from previous expansions with effects we’ve already seen before just watered down and nerfed with 5 weeks of timegating and no fantasy or choice or fun to it.

If you guys want borrowed power to come back so badly because you have no creativity anymore, just rip the band aid off completely and do the whole thing. This .0.7 patch going half way nonsense is getting very tiring. Siren Isle and the Circlet had laughably low participation and you guys somehow created something to give it a run for its money.

If you want to do m+, pugging especially, you have to do them all anyway. I agree it was the worst. And I hate that we have ANYthing like it other than gear.

I like how we are leaning more into these tiered progression trees for the content. The nodes or whatever all kind of feel ‘safe’ but hopefully the thing you do for it etc is fun.

Omnium Folio sounds like a Hogwart’s spell or something :magic_wand:

You have way more faith than I do. lol

another system to ignore

I know what you mean. I guess I’ve been way too critical for so long of Blizzard, that I’ve reframed my approach and through it, have been finding bits and bobs that I enjoy in what they do. :slightly_smiling_face::victory_hand:t2:

Does the fire dmg ability scale with fire dmg buffs or count towards Brewmasters self healing via fire dmg?

And does cosmic dmg work like chaos dmg mechanically?

There are some things I’ve enjoyed about this expansion. I liked three out of four leveling zones and think the zone lore for them was good. (I can’t get into Voidstorm. I dislike the way they portray the Void culture.)

Abundance makes me laugh, because I get so much speed, I feel like a crazy drunk on my Warrior, just running around Whirlwinding everything. LOL

I always like Delves, but I burnt myself out big time last expansion, so I’m still recovering. But some of the stories with more interactions, like the mirrors, make me happy.

I like that M+ is accessible for my guildies again.

But I’ve honestly found myself in Palia more often these days. And borrowed power systems just make me tired thinking about them.

That’s a nice bundle of positive stuff. I agree with a lot of what you wrote. No experience with the M+ being accessible part since I’m not in a guild.

Palia looks nice for sure.

Not surprised you’re tired of any ‘borrowed power’ system.

Personally wouldn’t mind it since in this form it’s just small things to keep the open world folks like me busy but hopefully it is better than Siren Isle… that was pretty awful, not gonna lie. It was hard to find any positives in that for me. :face_with_hand_over_mouth: (It felt REALLY barebones and boring)

I waited until Siren Isle was completely unlocked and things were made easier to get, before I went out there and powered through it all in a couple of play sessions. lol

I don’t get it.

So we’ve already got the void crucible research thing that powers the trinket that gives us beneficial void crazy spurts.

And the Voidforge with two kinds of cores, reroll cores and upgrade cores.

And now we’re also going to get whatever this thing is.

At some point, maybe when it comes to this piece of crap even, I am just going to stop chasing all this stuff.

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I’m sure I’m going to ignore this whole thing, the same way I’ve already ditched the trinket from the void crucible.

The Folio does not require a skip. Only needs to be completed on one character. Alts get all the benefits immediately.

The cloak was more interesting, and it still pisses me off that they level-maxed it to force us to give it up sooner than we wanted to.

This kinda sucks, I gotta be real.

I feel like at some point someone said they wanted to stop going so overboard on borrowed power systems, but it seems like that must have been just a really pleasant dream…

Ok… but why?

These bonuses aren’t that interesting.

It doesn’t seem to be a critical or even cool lore thing.

Our characters have a dozen normal ways to get more power.

This feels like a timegated power increase for the sake of it. Who is going to be excited for power set 3 to open on week 3? It’s literally just a chore.
