Loving the changes, keep up the good work.

No clue. I don’t even know what that is.
You’d have to ask them.
Perhaps it was as simple as they didn’t mean to?

Interesting numbers. How do you see that so clearly?
Or did you just keep scrolling and do the math yourself?

That’s my guess, when we saw no actual footage of raid druing blizzcon I was thinking it was not even finished

Exactly - we don’t have infinite time to run keys either and honestly we’re not top players or anything. We do like 4 keys/week best case, sometimes 5-6 if we’re lucky.

This was a good change for more casual players, regardless of whether you skip weeks or not, there could be some weeks where you have more trouble pushing to the same level you can on easier weeks. So it was nice to have a 15 from the vault every week so you could keep practicing and aim for KSM.

This change is literally deleting a QoL change that was good for a sector of the playerbase and didn’t really affect anyone negatively, nor it was a huge exploit. It’s unarguably bad, I really don’t understand why it’s being defended because it introduces absolutely nothing positive.

Yea, it’s one of those changes that only negatively impacts the casual side of the playerbase (well, as casual as you can be doing M+) while not affecting the pushers at all really, because they’ll keep doing their thing no matter what.

Yeah I mean we’re casual but we wanna get KSM done regardless, a season lasts long so it’s doable. Sometimes real life gets in the way, it sucks to get punished and lose progress, and changing it back doesn’t really add anything for any players.

If you open your mount journal, you’ll see a mount count at the top (on stock UI)

But that’s your total account wide mounts and not the mounts that particular character can use.
That number used to be viewable here

But if you look you’ll see that section is gone now.

The change to the keystone depletion isn’t the only changes that occured this season. The loot scaling, the great vault. Blizzard routinely demonstrates that want to adjust things, follow the data and continue iterating on it.

They can ultimately change the game to the way they want, we will adapt or decide it’s undesirable to do so and play other games.

But I think it’s disingenuous to not acknowledge the assumption is on both sides and it could simply be Blizzard wanted to experiment and see if this method of key depletion affected how often keys were run. Could have been that they didn’t see the numbers they had hoped with the change and are so reverting to the status quo from past expansions.

Those WW monk nerfs are so disgusting. Take my favorite part of WW monk, the only saving grace, destroy it and claim “bug fix”. SEF actaully has worse bugs on PTR than before. I’m going to assume it will be fixxed on patch day, it’s clearly a out of season April fool’s joke.

Until I see a blue post explaining that should’ve been under bug fixes, I have no reason whatsoever to believe that was a “bug”.

Yes it could’ve been a change that blizzard introduced, didn’t like how it played out, changed it back. That’s not mutually exclusive with it being an anti-player change.

I see some nerfs got snuck in there.

Also, this: “Vendor prices for items below item level 75 have been adjusted.” better not mean another gold nerf.

Lmao how did I miss this gem of an update.

keys only get worse before the expansion is over totally gone. i could care less about valor the only thing haunting keys is the worthless ilvl drop and less loot dropping and no fixes. why should i farm valor to upgrade loot when it was fine until shadowlands hit. good job blizz i might not have a problem doing keys seriously again but all my friends done quit hmmmm i wonder why. btw you still ain’t balanced crap and it’s 3 months in, how long is acceptable to you before you even put real effort in?

If it were something different, I could get behind that, but that is not the situation here.
There is no way they would implement this on purpose and then be surprised by the results.
The writing was on the wall for 4 years that people only push on certain weeks and look for a quick boost prior to get their first key to start higher than it might.

This would not have surprised anyone who is actually engaged in the scene, so unless there is some other reason we are missing, they would never make this change and then feel like it wasn’t working within 13 resets.

You mean the Venthyr buff? The covenant that no sane Fire mage takes over Night Fae and that won’t change the fact that the Night Fae ability is so good for Fire it’s required? Quite the buff indeed.

Or are we talking about the buffs to Fire Mage’s 2 worst options for Legendaries to “slightly below mediocre” status?

  • Pact of Thickness now increases summoned demons health and damage by 50% (was only demon health).

Disciplinary Command buff. It was on par with Fevered Incantation now it’s actually further ahead. Basically instead of 15% crit damage during combustion, you have 20%.

Looks like there’s even more Thickness to your Thick

So why isn’t it under bug fixes? Or why did they not clarify it wasn’t working as intended?
