It’s nice to have a bonus reward for the 6-month sub. I’m not sure how much I will use this… ahem …interesting transmog, but simply having it in the collection for occasional use can be fun in itself.

The point is all current MMOs are doing it: FF14 and ESO for example.
FF14 has somethings that shouldnt be on a cash shop.

Eh, FFXIV is far cheaper, plus their loyalty system is really good. You don’t even have to stay subbed consecutively to get the rewards. The only loyalty system that tops it is ESOs.

I like how people defend FF14 cash shop by talking about prices when the shop is very extensive and has basically almost every aspect of the game to buy.

It also has much more items. WoW also has hundreds of in game mounts, thousands of pets, and even more tmogs.

They do these promos precisely because people buy them for the virtual goods.
I mean it would’ve still been sold for cash so it’s all the same.
It is better than WoWs. if MMos are going this route I’d rather they be more valuable like FFs than kinda crappy like WoWs.
This transmog appears to be female-based. I mean, just look at it…I’m not against LGBT… but I myself as a guy would never equip this transmog…not sure what else to say

Imagine monetizing a Snap emote, then complaining about how Blizzard charges for their cash shop.
