Just because we all pay for the game doesn’t mean we all get the same things out of it. But I guess we still have entitled folks who think logging in should give you anything available in game because reasons.
They have every right, as does every other for profit company in the entire world, to sell anything they want. That’s not white knighting, it’s understanding how business work.
I guess you think the local grocery is “disrespectful” and “predatory” for selling plants since you already have to buy their groceries you should get the extras for free.

I’m actually going to stick to month by month for now till they step up their game. If I pay a six month now they will GIVE me the damn thing and I won’t be able to remove it from my account.

Oh great fan *&^%ing tastic now they are selling transmog sets welp their goes the hopes of everyone wanting class sets back they can’t sell those or if they do bring them back they will look like crap gotta get everyone buying those store sets.
I would have rather had a sprite darter mount (as I initially thought it was going to be when I started reading Facebook post), but I’m happy some people are happy.
For a transmog set, though, they should just give it to everyone with a recurring sub of any length imo. It doesn’t seem on the same level as a mount to tie it to the 6 months, but that’s just me.

If you don’t like the transmog don’t buy it or use the 6 month option. As for me I have no problem receiving free stuff for keeping my 6 month sub going.

How small do you think their art team is exactly? A single person could’ve been tasked with this project months ago. An entire art department doesn’t all work on a single mog set.
I’d deff take reworking old armors as I love my grandmarshal gear and would love to see it look like something not from the early 2000’s. But, that’s not how it works and the art team does what the person in charge tasks them to do and they get their orders from another person above them that doesn’t care about wasting man hours on rehashing old content that won’t bring in old customers like a 6 month contract can or an additional 20 bucks here and there.
So here we are.
Seems like a pointless comment to make (also just sounds extremely stupid as only immature people talk that way) towards someone who simply pointed out that the art team has no say in when the expansion releases or what they work on, which is absolutely true.
You actually get bent over paying monthly as you spend more overall. This isn’t the case if you’re flaky and stop playing for months at a time at random. But if you’ve been concurrently subbed for more than a year then you’re actually giving them more money for bending you over.
Small indie dev companies gotta eat yo!
Maybe you should focus on finishing an already delayed expansion instead of figuring out more ways to extract money from your player base. Is the money we pay per expansion AND a monthly on top of that not enough? Greedy.

So the people who already paid a 6 month subscription won’t get this cosmetic set for free if they didn’t have an auto recurring subscription set up as well. Haha, GG Blizzard.
People who have or get to 6+ months remaining game time during the promotional period should also receive it.
You continue to value subscribers over people buying game-time without a sub despite them paying the exact same amount of money.
Really hate your entire marketing team honestly.
