Exactly, so they are on sync that a fix to overscaled older raids or 8.3 rares is less important than releasing this…so point stands. Also this set is nothing new, it was datamined on BFA alpha and was unused until now. I wouldn’t mind this release if they haf proper priorities set.
Just to make sure I understand what you’re saying, you think the team that sets up marketing posts like this is the same team that fixes level squish bugs, and they’re choosing to release this transmog instead of fixing the bugs?
That is what you’re implying, right?
It’s an outfit…
Ah, I guess it’s time to copy FFXIV and make your game have every single business model at once!
Cash shop(F2P Model)
Buy to play
Monthly Sub
Why pick one monetization model when you can pick ALL three?
I paid six months for the Mouse mount. I was going to pay six months for the Dragon mount but you pulled it. But “Pixie jammies?” Seriously, give us something for people who are NOT big Lisa Frank fans. Do you even talk to the player base?
Being a guy i wont ever use it
A monthly sub + cosmetics, you guys are greedy!
I’m NOT a guy and I won’t use it! Whats next? Bunny Slippers? Teddy Bear hats?
no ty im saving for an xbox and ps5
It just shows up in wardrobe inventory
They are part of the same entity, and the higher ups are the ones who decides priorities, and they deemed fixing this less important than releasing a new cosmetic. If i was on the higher ups,i would 100% prioritize big game breaking stuff like overscaled older raids or 8.3 murdering Ny’alotha players, telling Ion and his fat team to work on a fix before i decide to grab a unused set from BFA alpha and release it as a cosmetic.
Yes, the higher ups are not actually prioritizing properly the fixes and instead decides that a new cosmetic has more priority.
kinda scummy bro… terrible idea blizz. honestly not a good PR move at all
What in Sam Hill?
Don’t call this a bonus “reward”. It’s a product that you buy. A reward is something you earn.
You might actually have brain damage, or you’ve never worked at a large company. These are two completely different teams, completely different priority lists. There’s no way any company with more than 10 employees would ever say “Hold on don’t post that marketing thing, we need to fix a completely unrelated bug first.” That would be completely pointless. This, in no way, changes the speed with which they can/are fixing bugs. It’s not related whatsoever. Acting like it is makes you either disingenuous or really dumb. Not sure which one of those it is.
All of these years people beg for wings and now you have to buy them lol
and they don’t even match with anything(I wear).
Def can’t get your point across without calling someone brain dead, disingenuous or really dumb! I mean - I KNOW, it is R E A L L Y hard not to, right?!

Yup, it’s impossible to when they’re being either braindead, disingenuous, or really dumb. “The marketing team isn’t fixing in-game bugs WTF BLI$$”
I know R I G H T!
Loyalty/Bonus Rewards/Programs, there’s nothing unusual about either the term or the way it works.
Gaming studios are capable of engaging in actual predatory, exploitative behavior, and that is not good. But for precisely that reason, it’s bad to conflate a harmless bit of marketing with loot boxes and similar things (which rely on a mechanic that can be said to resemble gambling in certain ways).
One meaning of reward is showing appreciation, so the idea of earning is not inherent to the concept, it’s just one meaning among many.
