Well, if you change your mind and want to take a vacation from what sounds like a metropolis of a server, there are some nice pleasant rural servers out there where the event is unfolding comfortably.
(or perhaps tomorrow’s infrastructure upgrades will boost performance?)
that doesn’t sound like a good time. i’d rather tip a crafter 5000 gold, get my crafted item and go back to enjoying the game.

Wow, so put the ally spawn point in their city, but keep the horde one outside so one side HAS to be flagged to participate.
yeah like what is the deal with that?? it makes it so that we can’t really go to 1/3 of all the events if we only have horde toons.
players with alliance toons are free to go to all 3 without risking being flagged for pvp…
You don’t have to pay money to make an alt.
I’m not sure if any of the rewards have a minimum level to drop, but the only reward from the event which isn’t account-wide is the bag.
Anyway, just trying to offer options to relieve what sounds like some painful angst the event is giving you.
You have to tag the boss for loot, which means you need a decent level alt. Class trials do not get an opportunity to loot due to restrictions, so it really does leave you in a pickle.
It’s not a huge server. I’m not sure what your goal here is. This is a sharding issue impacting server stability (and not just on my server). This is on Blizz to sort. Asking people to leave their communities isn’t reasonable. I appreciate the thought but there’s nothing more to discuss here.

I’m not encountering any problems with the event.
I don’t know exactly why some people are encountering overcrowding problems that I’m not but the first thought that came to mind was to explore if there was a way to get away from those crowds.
I have no dark argumentative agenda here, I’m just trying to help people find the fun.
i doubt any level one is going to be able to tag the boss that literally one shots 70s lol
Blizzard, please respond to us. What is the solution for this lack of foresight? Are we going to be able to buy the things we dont get with gold, tokens, something? Are we going to have to wait 10 years to try and get things because RNG is RNG?
Be warned if you are on a large server or are in group finder. Unless you are able to constantly spam AoE and TAG the boss in the .03 seconds he is alive. You will not recieve any loot. On my 2nd hour now where the boss was dead before he was spawned, and people are just not getting a chance to tag him.
Managed to get a tag in Stormwind but when I went to Durotar on my Horde character it was a nightmare.
The lag had people frozen in place stuck in looping animations and my frames went to the great dark beyond.
I was spamming my instant cast on my Evoker but I got no loot.
Pretty bummed out, I stayed up way too late for this. My own fault really, but it would have been nice to have at least gotten something for my trouble.
please extend this event, the portals are pretty bugged and on March 12 you guys are doing a possible 8 hours long maintenance.
March 11 to 18 is not long enough with all this mess.
please give it a at least another extra week
And now I’ve killed the boss twice in a row on two different accounts and have gotten no loot.
Did it get changed to one loot per day per character?
Took a few hours of checking on and off, but I finally managed to be present for the boss spawn. Is Orgrimmar the only location where the boss spawns reliably on the hour or was that just dumb luck for me? First kill didn’t even give me credit.
Do you have 10 Wild Cards? They are capped at 10 so if you do and that’s all you got as a drop you won’t get loot.
I’m assuming the very first kill is going to be your highest chance at loot, but I’ve gotten multiple drops on multiple characters in a single day.
