You need to just LOG IN to Hearthstone, not play.
Exit WoW and Bnet, launch HS, log in, log out, log back into WoW then check your mount collection for a wrapped gift.

I think that it’s just in line with most of the events they don’t test: Underwhelming, buggy as hell, and nothing special in the slightest.
I expect the same mess with 10.2.6 and TWW prepatch event

Did that like 10 years ago, but when I logged in the first time today I had a bunch of stuff to claim. Went through that and didn’t get the mount. Logged in again a few minutes ago and got a popup saying I got the mount. Back into WoW and it was there.

It’s spawning in SW again twice in a row both within 20 minutes of eachother.

It’s based off of WoW. We’ve had two mounts from it and toys. It’s a Blizz crossover. We also had a mount from HotS, too.

Try exiting Bnet and then relaunching.
I got the hearthstone on my Alliance hunter earlier, and then I hopped to a couple of other groups. I got the bag too, both on the same character within I’d say 10 minutes of each other. So I think it’s just RNG.

I started swapping to new characters and started getting loot. I don’t know if that was just an insanely bad streak or what.

I’ll probably stick to a character for a bit once I start farming again in a bit and then maybe swap as needed. I needed a break after the farming I did earlier. 
Thankfully I am now done.
The only thing I don’t have is the bag, and I could care less about that. I refuse to go back to do this horrible clusterfudge just for two lousy bag slots. lol

Honestly just make an alliance evoker and park it in SW, you can miss all the valdrakken and org portal spawns and still get more spawns and loot than anyone farming both those other points.

I have a hunter, so I don’t need to do much. I might give that a shot, however.
