Let us wear our other winter clothes before Winter veil to go with our new trading post stuff . We’re allowed to have candy cane swords but not a Santa hat?

The Crimson Glimmerfur is really a hard pill to swallow:
It’s supposed to be a gilnean legend coming once a season, but:
- The Glimmerfurs came from Ardenweald
- It will be in the gilnean forests in the 10.2.5, so much for a legend.

In fact many pieces are too costly, Blizzard could have give us more tenders this month as it’s Winter Veil.
As a worgen player, i tend to jump on any stuff related to gilneas (and we have too few of them) but this time i am really reluctant to spend tenders on something flagged as gilnean but is not even close to fit the gilnean theme, or the gilnean forest where it will roam as a tamable pet.
Again, so much for a supposed legend…

This month’s selection could be better, but it could be far worse, too. I really like the matching hammers for the TWW armor set. My shaman will make great use of both.
Picked up the fox mount and got the moose pet from doing enough tasks this month. Decided to freeze the deer pet to potentially get it next month. Was 75 tender short to get it this month, unfortunately.
Also while I was AFK, someone gave my pet a pet biscuit to make it grow:

600 tender for a strictly one-handed sword - Oof. At least make it a one-handed/2-handed set for that price. Imagine a full holiday-themed weapon ensemble. This was a missed opportunity for sure.

To buy everything this month, I believe it would cost 9050 trader’s tender.
Now I realize the point of these is for you to pick and choose things you like over things you’re not huge on, but… Assuming someone really wanted to have everything here, they would have had to gather up all the Trader’s Tender from every month so far (1000 per month, +500 from the initial month and +500 from owning DF) and probably buy a couple of the cash-shop promotions to go with it.
Wasn’t the whole point of the Trading Post the fact that it was in-game rewards incentivized by in-game activities?
Is it just going to keep ramping up and up until the only way to buy anything more than a pair of boots is to shell out $$$?
Will it just be a wolf in sheep’s clothing, but with cash shop cosmetics?

the sword is way too expensive, weapon mogs and pets shouldnt cost any more than 300 tender max imo

I am so sick of these blademaster swords that my monk, who has great blademaster t-mog, can’t equip because they are two handlers.

I’m highly disappointed with the candy cane sword only being one handed with no variance since that was the only thing I really wanted and there should be version for all classes and specs like candy cane two handed sword, candy cane two handed staff, candy cane bow, candy cane warglaive, etc.

Kind of surprised there is no staff version of the candy cane but whatever. Will the Mage transmog set come in different colors eventually? I main blood elves so I’m sure it would look cool on my Mage, especially with the heritage armor!
Yeah I might have brought a Staff that looks like a Candy Cane…most of my classes I play can use a staff…mostly Boomkin Druids…
