[Updated 10/16] Midnight Prologue: "The Warning" Content Update and Housing Early Access

If people want to interact, then they will. Forcing them to be grounded isn’t going to magically form interaction and friendship.

I’m more concerned about them landing on my roof :rage: I need to get a good insurance package!

This game is now run by a bunch of monkeys click clacking keys around it seems. What a joke.

So do I. Go do your delves for champ/vet gear, they are incredibly fast now, specially if you get the portals.

You can full champion gear a character over 3 days, playing 40 minutes per day.

You simply want “welfare gear”, which is extremely weird for an addon hater.

I did a T11 delve (Mycomancer) in 2 minutes yesterday, since the portal was right on top of the mid delve save spot, which you can directly access from the start.

So do we all.

Your point?

I find that when it comes to most new expansions that two week period before launch is usually the ramp up. The same way we had with TWW in the basement of the cathedral going into three different zones and fighting ghosts from the past. I’m sure much the same way we had with Legion or wrath. There will be void encounters that happen in the open zones and gear tied to those drops and battles.

Not going to force them to interact but more of a chance to interact.

I don’t know maybe i will be surprised and more people than what i think will end up not flying and instead running/walking around.

My point is just like Siren Isle for Season 1 and Flame’s Radiance for season 2, season 3 should have a system for quickly obtaining Veteran gear so we can use the catalyst to get the class Transmogs.

So if I don’t buy Midnight, when do I get full access to player housing? When 12.0 launches? On the Midnight release date? When 13.0 launches?

Then use a key below a T8 then

Catch up gear from those two things were to help players get into content much faster.

What interactions?

13.0 most likely.

You don’t think people will interact with others?

Neighborhoods are meant to have a little area in the middle where people can hang out aren’t they?

If everyone is just flying around good chance no one will ever see other players and i just feel it could ruin the whole thing.

I wonder if exterior customization will be enabled. I didn’t see that in the notes.

Not really. The plots are spread out, because we have outdoor space to decorate. The Endeavors move you out into the world to do things. At most, you’ll have a friend come visit you and they don’t care about the rest of the neighborhood. And you’ll see people turning in quests or buying stuff from vendors in the center of town. That’s pretty much it.

Only roleplayers will be interacting more. And they’ll have private neighborhoods where they can walk around and RP in peace.

But I don’t see any of them taking offense to someone beelining to their home to decorate either.

Outside of RP, neighborhoods were a mistake, imo.

You can buy full veteran gear with undercoin.
Otherwise, T6 delves are your best option.

Continuing The War Within Campaign

Though the Ghosts of K’aresh have been put to rest, a new danger looms. Vereesa Windrunner is stricken by visions of a new threat: a dire prophecy of Quel’thalas’ fall. You’ll continue The War Within campaign to learn more about what portents await.

^ notice about catch up gear IMO, but I maybe wrong

Thank you very much for putting housing on Monday Oct 13. It is actually a stay holiday in Canada and testing will be nice.

Should have done it this weekend so you could have got more testing

I thought one of blizzards main goals was to make housing and neighborhoods feel more sociable though.

Flying could ruin that.

Oh right I forgot about that lol.

Excellent point.
