Update PvP Vendor with All Stat Options on Gear - Due to Catalyst Changes

Continuing the discussion from Midnight: Curse of Ula’tek PTR Development Notes:

For PvPers, we purchase our PvP Gear from a Honor/Conquest Vendor. These vendors usually sell two different versions of our main gear pieces with two stats. One Stat will always be Versatility and other Stat will be either Haste, Crit, or Mastery.

In Example, there are two Plate Chest Pieces on the Vendor.

  • Chest 1 Stats:
    • Versatility
    • Mastery
  • Chest 2 Stats:
    • Versatility
    • Haste

There is no 3rd Option Chest, with Versa/Crit.

Now typically PvPers want to stack just 1 Stat, and usually that involves crafting certain pieces or selecting certain Tier Set Pieces that have a more desirable stat combination, etc..

However, in 12.1, Tier Set Catalyst will no longer replace the Base Stats on gear, which may result in unwanted pieces of loot that cannot be avoided.

Another Example. there are two Plate Glove Pieces on the Vendor

  • Glove 1 Stats:
    • Versatility
    • Haste
  • Glove 2 Stats:
    • Versatility
    • Crit

There is no Versa/Mastery gloves, which would be my desired stat. If I wanted to Convert my Gloves to Tier, there is no option here that provides Mastery.

To make gearing in PvP a little bit easier, and a little bit more understandable – and due to this Catalyst Change – is there any chance that the PvP Vendor could be updated with;

  • All 3 Stat combinations for each slot of Gear. (Versa/Mastery - Versa/Haste - Versa/Crit)

  • Could an additional set of Ring Stats be added?

  • Could an additional set of Trinket Stats be added?

  • Could Trinkets get a slight refresh with a bit more 12.1 Theme? :smiley:

    • IE: Your abilities have a chance to transform you into an Ula’tek Snake increasing your haste/mastery/crit for X sec.
