I literally said:

In an interview with Naguura, Ion said verbatim: “I mean… we’re going to have a lot more details… uhm… there’ll be more info— it’s going to be in the 11 1 5 update. [bunch of other rambling about why they changed it] We’ll have more details in the next update, though.”

It sounded like he said Cartel Chips were coming in 11 1 5, but after getting the transcript of it and listening closely to make sure the transcript was correct… looks like he said the info is coming in the update, not the Cartel Chips themselves.

But Ion did say it twice. “… more info— it’s coming in 11 1 5.” The problem there was the pause. “It’s” refers to the info. If he were referring to cartel chips, he would’ve said “they’re” and not “it’s.” Cartel chips are plural. Info is singular.

And then he said it again at the end of his garble, “We’ll have more details in the next update, though.”

I get where it sounds as if he’s talking about the cartel chips… but reading it word for word, he meant the information on them is coming this next update.

People misunderstood Ion. He said more information is coming in the next patch. Not that the cartel chips themselves are.
