Update my guild

Why does my selected character in the Forums indicate I’m a member of CinderWorks? That guild isn’t even on the same server as my character! I’m now on [Area-52] and the Gm of Frog Squad! I’ve been on [Area-52] for several weeks now…

It may or may not update in several more weeks.

Try logging out then back in on the forums. That usually gets everything to update.

It’s been… nearly a month at this point. Waiting longer seems pointless.

I tried that… doesn’t seemed to have helped.

My character is still displaying the guild I left more than half a year ago.

Nix that. It didn’t appear to have helped but apparently when I hit reply it forced my forum to use an Alt. Recanna is now fixed. Thank you!

You must not remember that it took almost a year for Blizzard to be able to fix the broken post history we used to have. Post history is one of the most basic and elementary features of any forum and they weren’t able to fix it for nearly a year.

A few weeks for something broken is nothing.

To be honest I’m not a huge forum user. I didn’t even know that was a thing until just now.

Though, I am finding that the guild recruitment posts I just made are no longer tied to my account. I can’t edit them or see them on my activity. Guess I’ll have to manually check them for notifications or replies now.

I’ve had the forums list me with the same guild for two expansions and it didn’t finally update till Shadowlands lol.

Log out, log in, new character new post, no way to force an update. what gives?

We try not to necro old threads around here. Just relog or wait a while. It’s never going to be instant. The hamsters need to catch up. lol

EDIT: it did work ! (could be a loggout/login as well… one of the two)

Ive tried posting, replying, and log out/in. It doesnt like to update well
