Logistically, how would this even work?
Thank you Blizzard for SoD. My wife and I won’t be continuing to MoP or any other game mode. We’ll wait for a Classic+ if it ever comes.
SoD really just hit different. I wasn’t a fan of everything but I didn’t hate those things either. I loved the way our classes played and the way the raids shaped out. I quit Classic back in 2020 when I was way too loot starved. I quit WotLK when our guild crumbled in Ulduar HM’s. SoD was in the middle of these and felt so approachable with a busy schedule. There were so many highs with a few lows but we stayed the whole time to see the end. It was bittersweet and I just wanted to say thank you! If you ever bring a Classic Plus we’ll be there! May I have all of my “unique SoD amor/weapons” into Retail transmog like some items from BwL “Truthbearer” I use it on my paladin on Retail because it looks cool and it’s good class fantasy, please? I would love if this can happen anytime. RiP SoD

like any version of the game, no worries, these people will never get their attention too.
No one is “Bashing” them. We are upset to be told that this great version of WoW has to step back just because investors want to see more boost purchases via WoW MOP Classic.

SOD is literally a side project from the start and had its ups and downs. I’ve never seen a game mode so hated on by the people that no life it and I PVP.
All I see in these comments is hate for the devs with a few people being genuinely thankful for the fun. Maybe look inward.
Like everyone knew this was not going to be a longetrm thing. The fact it got 6 phases is incredible considering the crap going on with blizz and the microsoft stuff.
The boost should be for tbc anniversary lol. Mop is a wild call and a far cry from what a sod player is looking for. Even the tbc boost is unappetizing to most, but atleast it makes some sense in the context of the server progression.

me when i cry about people who have complaints about the state of a game they’re involved in every day when the developers of that game announce they’re no longer developing for it. you talk so dishonestly it’s unreal. if you have a specific criticism of how people are being unfair speak up but lazily reframing players voices on the state of the game to cry foul on everyone is at best intellectually lazy and at worst cynical baiting
“all i see is hate” you should get your eyes fixed son, people are complaining because they think it’s their favorite version of wow and they dont want to play anything else. stop talking like a 3rd rate politician

I’m honestly very upset. So probably a bit emotional as this is setting in. I don’t want it to end. I really like everyone on my server, too. I cant go to MOP or anniversary.

The highest dps logged for Garrosh was done by a prot warrior, they have that at least.

Then why not allow us to take them forward on our journey into MoP? Instead they sit on a server where it eventually dies.
