I would love this but I can see how people would hate the homogenized feel. So having that little extra step with a lore backing could keep some people happy.
Are you talking about the cornrow hairstyle? In order to make they look better the needs to be more braids in that style. If they could make thinner braids and place them in the gaps it would be cute. I have know many women to have a style like this. Also make those “baby hairs” smaller because they look crazy.
You really only find this mentality in the WoW community, though. Honestly, if people think getting worked up about more hairstyle options for all races is necessary, then they probably never learned to share in kindergarten.
I want a Merida (Brave character) and a Hagrid (Harry Potter character).
Merida can be a Dwarf hunter and Hagrid can be a Kul’Tiran hunter.
Yes, give them a proper side braid like Jaina’s would be nice.
And give them a scar option like the Night Elves and not plastered on the faces would be good too.
Seeing Hagrid makes me kinda sad… Such a great actor…

Unfortunately, he passed away in October of last year.
I think it is less about not wanting to share and more about not wanting the game to change into something else. Even if we don’t get the base hairstyle having neutral hairstyles could be an option.
Why not have a whole beauty space ran by Q’onzu. Who else would love watching as people change than them.
