Soon after the launch of the Midnight Pre-Expansion Update, we discovered an issue with the Faction Change service. We quickly disabled the service, fixed the issue, and restored the service. It has since been safe to Faction Change your characters.
For any players whose characters’ ability to transmog were affected, we’re working to restore your affected characters with an additional fix that will be applied with next week’s realm restarts.
Thank you for your patience and the detailed reports you provided while we identified the issue.
I’ve been frustrated with this issue, but thank you for sharing more information and for giving us an update. I appreciate it, and I look forward to Tuesday.
Not only did I lose my Collection but lost all my lv 80 equipment, now I have beginners equipment lol That’s on my lvl 80 toon Dovehawke on Draka, In fact all my toons are back to low lvl equipment wth
And what about those of us that used other services but have the same issue? My character was server transferred and I can’t transmog or even change the name of the MOG slots.
Why not just do a 4th maintenance this week? Might as well.
On a related note, this would be a great f’n opportunity to give us that “one free transmog per character-player” you promised us last week that we’ve now sat through three maintenances without seeing.

Aka the people who faction changed before the fix was implemented. That fixes rolling out with the restarts on Tuesday. Blizzard has already confirmed this
