Upcoming 4-set nerf for Enhancement

The one good thing is they buffed baseline stuff and just nerfed a set bonus that gets replaced. The stupid thing is they buffed it to 100% because 50% was weak but now nerf it to 20%

I do not like the idea that I am pushing high right now, and it will be a hard slap when my numbers fall in m+, and I do not know, but other classes like Spriest feel more op, and they do not do anything about it. However, as an old wow gamer, I know this is always how Blizzard works, but in the last 3-4 patches, they constantly move significant changes around shamans in the middle of the season. You cannot make complex changes in mid-season in a competitive game.

Eh, the issue at the time was the Sundering bonus was conditional on how many targets Sundering hit, and people were talking about purposefully trying to make their Sundering hit 1 target to get the single target buff in AOE. So they made the Chain Lightning part more powerful in order to make the AOE bonus competitive with the single target bonus. But then they also got rid of the conditional aspect of it and just made both bonuses active no matter how many targets Sundering hit.

We could just see an implementation of ride the lightning with it casting to a scaling number of targets for idk 50% of the damage bonus? I’m sure they have clever ideas in the hat that they could just pull out and have it interact with crash lightning/next melee ability spell cast? The class already has choice on rotation why not add even more flavor to the paella?

eh as a previous spriest player, the setup is minimized to the fullest with so many passive effects its like the class is the embodiment of azerite passive procs. Maybe there will be a nerf to them to create some content for the FOTMers to reroll to something else. I mean they did it last patch with numbers tuning but yes agreed I wish such drastic changes didn’t come with a caveat.

Actually I was thinking, they could just make the buff cast a lightning bolt at the same MSW count as the CL spent. And Asc should auto pick if >3 mobs for the cast. Is this a technical limitation?
