We are not even 3 months into classic and honor is being released, and with that the ability to get naxx level endgame weapons and BWL is not even out yet. BG will probaly hit in december and we will start seeing rank 14 players within 5 to 6 weeks of pvping. At this rate naxx will be out by Summer of 2020. Sorry I was expecting at least 6 months per phase and ideally a year between raid tiers.
Too early thread #1351451
Adds nothing to the overall debate.
Theyâll also release phase 3 a lot earlier too because if they release r14 1.12 pvp gear, that stuff is gonna be just as good as BWL level gear. This means PvP will be BiS in almost every slot in phase 2.
I can imagine all of the crying threads from PvEers saying they are âforced to pvpâ. Even though it equates to nothing more than said PvEers just annihilating low level raids even more than they already do.
Rank 14 takes 3 months minimum. And thatâs if you never empty your poopsock.
Unsubbed?
You have to have a sub to play either version of the game.
Try again
Okay bye then
Bye Felicia. Donât let the door hit you on the way out. Actually I hope it does.
None of you understand. This is all we get. Once progression is done no more content is being released. This was a chance to take things slow, enjoy the classic experience in stages without rushing things.
Donât quit now, the real Battle for Azeroth is about to begin! There isnât even any azeroite this time around. Thatâs a plus!
I am going back to private server. Classic was fun but moving too fast.
if they release all phases before the new wow xpac then they went too fast so well see
You donât understandâŠthe majority of players started after the honor system. For the majority of players, playing without it doesnât feel like Vanilla.
ALSO even if they released T2 early with BWL and Phase 3, that would still be fine for the classic experience.
âPhase 1-4â happened in the first year of WoW release. Iâd be completely fine with this all happening in 6 months.
In fact the entire Vanilla content was rolled out in 2 years.

Every player quiting by phase 2 song to Blizzard.
This would have been smart, but the antsy-pants are getting âbored.â
The entirety of Vanilla was 2 years.

This is a 15 years old game and nostalgia project, if anything it is going too slow
I feel a bit like Jesus, throwing pearls before swine. Slow the progression down blizzard, this is all we get. 6 months per phase, end of story.
It wasnât 6 months per phase even when Vanilla was being created from scratch.
This is no longer my problem though, as I said I"m going back to my slower prog private server. Classic was fun but this team just doesnât get it.
see you in couple days
6 months per phase is a great way to lose a bunch of subscribers. MC and Onyxia are already getting old for a lot of people.
Everyone is aware of the limited content, but there is nothing stopping them from doing fresh servers and putting them back at phase 1, or doing TBC or doing classic+
