MoP was the last expansion I was giddy over and loved almost all the way through, I don’t know why people hated it.

The classic commercial running on twitch is terrible, and if anything, makes me want to play vanilla less.

I like the Allied Races system because I’m simply awarded for doing what I’d normally do anyway with more customization / RP opportunities.
I also think Time Sensitive content is good for the game and we need more of it.

Timegating has always existed, they just stopped disguising it. Moreover, they need to have timegates because the bulk of the playerbase cannot police its own gameplay and many would stick a fork in their own eye if they were told by a guide on Wowhead that it would get them something just a few hours more quickly than the other guy.
No dev team could possibly keep up with the playerbase’s demands without some form of timegating. You have people who have been playing for over a decade, entire websites and careers dedicated solely to picking apart every aspect of any system made by the devs, and then giving people the most efficient way to get through it, not the most fun. The playerbase can turn any system into a grind, no matter what the design is.

Classic should have the updated character models. The base races ended up good.
I cringe every time my rogue eviscerates as she looks like her spine breaks/turning into a towel being wrung out. Some nostalgia I can do without.
