I place above EN, just behind ToS and well below Antorus and Nighthold.
It's been great, especially for the first raid tier in an expansion. I've really enjoyed progressing through every difficulty level.

I have found it to be a fun raid. I could do without always being on dispel duty on Zul, but I chose shadow priest, so it is what it is.

For me, it’s not what you raid, but who you raid with.

And I hate Zul. Wish we had a racial on our side that trivialized the encounter.
I don't think I know anyone who could tell you why we were in The Obsidian Sanctum killing Sartharion. But dragon dropped loot and a mount. That's all we needed to know. Though I did mention it one of the weeks we were in there and (after 12 kills or so of this boss) I made 24 people all go "huh, why are we here?" lol And then we pulled some trash, killed a boss and got some loot. Story is nice, but I enjoy raids for the mechanics and the group dynamic.
If it makes you feel any better, I really don't like the change to the racial anymore than you like that boss. I don't even have it on my bar outside of that fight because I simply never use it.
How is this unpopular it really is fun!
