Unpopular opinion : its our fault when we are getting farmed, and blizzard shouldnt cave

Hello. Unpopular opinion here, but when you get killed, its due to lack of in-game knowledge, and poor decision making on your part. You can easily fly an extra land zone out from your target, and mount in manually, or amass with players in feralas for the DM gate control.

By Blizzard caving, they are catering to the demands of the masses and following the same slippery slope that eventually turned classic into the retail we have today

I think the majority of people complaining are having game breaking experiences, and nothing can be done simply because their faction doesn’t have the numbers.

Boats being camped, forcing you to take rez sickness because there is no hope getting off. Multiple flight masters camped in the 50+ zones, so you try a different zone to level and you just get killed when you land again. It’s a big waste of time, if you happen to go to the wrong zone at the wrong time the only way out is to rez in a corner and hearth. Then you go to a different zone to try again and whoops, there’s another 15 people camping the FP and now your hearth is on CD so you logout. Players basically being forced to corpse crawl to a dungeon to get any progress, just to get killed again when they emerge to reset.

I recommend everyone joins the World Defense channel so you can get somewhat an idea of whats too spicy to venture to.

Well… Fair enough, but what if that player follows me and kills me wherever i go? Is that still my fault?

Well, thats why towns have guards, and we have guilds. The pressure will die down when BG’s get released, just be aware that this is something LEGENDARY

Wont the flight path camping die down some when dishonorable kills matter next week?

Flight path npcs are level 55, and as such, are not DK’s. In some areas, perhaps there are civ npc’s next to FP’s, but as a whole, no the dk penalty does not inherently directly effect fp npcs

I just dont understand the mentality behind it man. They know pvp ranking was released thursday, they know that high level areas are going to be popular hotspots, and yet they sit there at the flightmaster and make a conscious decision to go to the spot where they will be farmed, completely baffling

Gazelles still drink at the same watering holes

I don’t think flight masters are civilians.

And it wouldn’t matter anyway because you can’t fly in combat. So even if you manage to run to the FP, talk to the guy and click the place you want to go before you die, you can’t fly out if someone landed a hit on you.

Nor should you be able too. You have been struck and must choose to respond with your life or with violence

Yes because minding your own business questing in the middle of nowhere with seemingly noone around, then getting backstab one-shotted by a rogue is the gankee’s fault. Right.

And what are they supposed to do? Fish in Darkshore for 3 months?

Lmao this. There’s a ton of quests in un’goro, but it’s close to unplayable there. Only place I didn’t get ganked was azshara, which had like 4 quests total.

I think the appropriate word is infamous.

What if Blizzard offered free transfers to your server which completely threw off the balance making it a nightmare for players to get any questing done? Welcome to Deviate Delight. Once fun and now a dumpster fire. Character transfers didn’t begin until mid 2006 so Blizz has already broken the classic vanilla experience. The harm done by the free transfers cannot be ignored.

PvP happens, but Blizzard screwed certain servers and needs to fix it asap.
