The average fury warrior starts outperforming the average ret at 235 average ilvl and up.
You just scale better than rets (but rets have a higher baseline). Unfortunately, hard mode gear is crazy scarce this phase. By full best in slot, fury has a solid lead over ret.
ToGC bumps up the average ilvl quite a bit, so it’ll be more than just the 10% of warriors with large amounts of gear from hard modes that only drop 1 thing per week that are beating ret.

They don’t roll right along side with anything. They are dead last in overall dps.

What metrics are you using to suggest this? Everything I’ve seen suggests assassination rogue has outpaced warrior in terms of dps relative to iLvl.

Yeah I looked at it. He picked the one bracket which they’re closest. Did you actually look at the highest gearscore statistics?
He used it to represent scaling. I think fury is scaling too much. That plus the sims of them pushing into p4 shows they should be nerfed. They have no business being anywhere near locks/hunters/mages/rogues

He used a cherry picked bracket to reflect that. The rest show the exact opposite. Even more so as you go to 22, 23 and 24.
The sims weren’t cherry picked. They were performed across multiple class leads in a joint effort to see where specs stood

They only hybrid that should perform as well as the pures is druids. But that’s just because it entertains me watching the warriors throw adult tantrums over video games. So that I accept
Every dps spec should be good. Regardless of what class they are.

See you say this then I see how angry the warriors are over ferals/ret and I have to say I don’t believe any of you actually think that at all. You weren’t happy for them, the collective whole appears upset.
Changed to role, but I do agree with this.
I would say good would be defined as at least one is brought and doing so is not a detriment to the raid. Good does not need to mean “topping meters” or “stacking multiples”.
The only dps roles that have an argument to be slightly above the rest are non hybrids (Warlock, Mage, Hunter, Rogue.) Other than these 4 everyone else is a hybrid.
