Argh it’s doing that thing where it won’t really let me look at the screen shots until I create an account. What I did see before the window popped up looks awesome though!
Side note: did they fix the issue where players were getting banned on the site after linking pinterest to WoW? I’ve avoided it because of that, but if everything is smooth now I might do it just to view screen shots…

I had a hunch when they did the pinterest thing it was their way to give us an avenue to share screenshots of our creations. Probably because pinterest is moderated (I think?) so that would help maybe filter out bad stuff.
Anyway, I dunno if I’ll do all that but I’m fiddling with a design all my own that I’ll try to share when I’ve perfected it!
TBH, I only messed with the pinterest for the decor items.
Then when I went through the process. Linked my accounts. I got the little camera.
It makes snapping an image and making it sharable seamless. - That I like.
No hiding my UI, No upload, none of that. It cleans up my screen for me and sends it up to my folder for me.
I don’t mess with screen shots because it’s a hassle. This isn’t so much of one.
I do not like it takes you out of the game, but everything does for images, I suppose.
I’ve been playing WoW on a steam deck for the past 3-4 years. in order to update my addons, open chrome, or dump my screenshot folder into my google drive, i have to exit wow and go into desktop mode (there is probably a more efficient way to do that, but it works, and i dont want to go through the hassle of doing that)
I just set up a pinterest account specifically for my wow characters, and, man, it it quite nice to just *snap*, title, description, upload.
If my pinterest gets banned, it was brand new and wow specific anyway, so, no loss.

So this isn’t like a house design, but a small project I have been fiddling with and I think it looks pretty awesome, but there are some downsides to it. Anyway, here are the screen shots.

These are all just tests of essentially the same design because I was playing around with things like different soil colors or height or lighting as well as a border for the back wall so that it doesn’t just disappear into the wall so much. I think the last one is my favorite though!
The downsides of this: the base and rugs stick out behind the wall on the corner designs, so if there is a room on the other side you can see that. Pretty easy to hide though. The second issue is that if anyone puts their mouse on the base it will show a cog and highlight the base because it is interactable like a chair. Not the end of the world, but still kind of annoying.
I have been wanting a curved planter option and this looks pretty good in my opinion, but I may try out the elegant curved table next. It just won’t be as rustic.
It sucks that the loamy soil is the way that it is and that we have to use rugs. It’s probably better to hide the soil surface with plants as much as possible, but I wanted to experiment with the whole range of options before I start deleting.
What happens if you shave the https and only post what I have quoted?

Great looking planter. I hear you on the soil. However, I’ve found some great uses for it beyond soil.
I also like the image with just the seed. you could actually slowly, painstakingly, RP that planter into bloom from a seed. Lots of effort, but a neat slideshow I bet.
When I want to use it for that, I use several and scale them differently.
Those planters look pretty good.
What did you use to make the planter portion? I am not recognizing those shapes at all.

Thank you for the idea! I may try that, but I’m also kind of okay with it being a plant that grows very slowly so wouldn’t change for a long long time.

Thank you. It’s actually the founder’s point door or whatever it’s called (200% scaling for most of them) turned on its side with dyed rugs to hide the flat portion. Saw it used in a different way for an aquarium on a video so I can’t take all credit, but I think this is a new way of using it at least.
I think next I might try a water feature using it, but that will be much more difficult.

I just got my house to level 8. I’m redoing my war room to be a barracks / training area while moving the war room to be adjacent to next to the barracks and slightly smaller. This has also given me enough space to open up another room attached to the barracks that will serve as a medical bay.
Farmed about 100 lumber last night from draenor. Think I’ll need about 300 more or so to get the beds set up the way I’m envisioning.
