Shame you canât have two names for characters like you can on FF14 and other games, would make a Priest or Shaman (Paladin if its an option) and call them Set Serpentus.

No new ARs in 8.2 per the Q&A.
They are saying they are looking at feedback for the BFA races which means Vulpera and Sethrak. I hope they realize how poorly received Junkgnomes are though.

Yeah, I donât think he was being coy and that the new ARs would be 8.2.5 either. The way he came off seems like we may be done with ARs until the end of the expansion, though thatâs speculation.

that was my thoughts. If we get any more ARs this expac, theyâre likely to be similar to the originals, being pre-order bonuses or something. Iâll hold out for news of sethrak, but this news has pretty much confirmed iâm not coming back to the game this expansion.

Same. Iâll surf around here (though wonât be able to post after next week) and MMOchamp/WoWhead for news. But taking a break until 9.0 seems like a strong possibility.

Tbh nothing really changed. Itâs likely we learn who the new AR are in 8.2 and get them in 8.2.5.

Sethrak should just be their own third faction and embark on a conquest that results in the destruction of the Alliance and Horde. For the Emperor!!!
They didnât say no new allied races in 8.2.0 though. They said no new allied races in 8.2. Presumably that would include 8.2.5.
I donât think weâre going to get anything else until 8.3 at the earliest. Which could be good for Sethrak (maybe they saw how hated Junkergnomes were and decided to change things) but could also be very bad (maybe Vulpera/Junkergnomes are the last new allied races and we arenât getting them until the end of the expac).

If the Sethrak give up slavery and stop enslaving the poor Vulpera, I wouldnât mind them joining the Alliance.
The devoted didnt do any of that.
Faithless did tho.

True, what I meant was if we get the (Redeemed) Faithless, they better drop that slavery and crap like that before joining.
Im pretty sure they will, I dont think Vorrik would appreciate them being like
Faithless: âoh yea I will join back and while being redeemed I will keep my Vulpera slave to do as I say!â

Why would that include 8.2.5? That doesnât make sense. We are getting allied races in .5 patches.
I got the distinct impression from Ionâs answer that he wasnât being coy with saying âno new ARs in 8.2â and that weâll be getting another AR in 8.2.5.
Iâm of the opinion that when we see new ARs it might be 9.0 preorder bonus like the NPC races of Legion were before BfA. Something for people to do in the lull between the final BFA patch and 9.0.
I think we may be in for a long wait until Blizzcon to get real news regarding the next ARs.

I would hope we wouldnât have to wait until the end of the year to get any sort of allied race announcement. I feel like that is way too long of a wait.
On the subject at hand, I would love Sethrak playable as well, but I would much prefer them joining the Horde. I can see arguments made for them being on either faction, however.

Apparently we will still have to wait longer for a confirmation that we will have sethraks and vulperas as allied race!
And since we do not hear anything that indicates that we will have sethraks, we also do not hear anything that says we will not have sethraks! Cool!
But itâs good to know that the devs are seeing how much sethraks and vulperas take up the playersâ interest!
