So, me and my sister were playing HotS yesterday, and while browsing through my skins i found this one that Xul has, which looks very Sethrak-like!
I think something similar to this would make a pretty cool Sethrak Heritage Armor! Also, that huge snake scythe is awesome, and i wish there was an obtainable weapon in WoW that looked like it.

Id take it as any quality weapon. Scythes (Polearms) are my favorite weapon types. I use this one on my Zandalari Druid all the time.

I abhor the headdress. It’s terrible.
But love the pauldrons and the scythe. xDD
I’m a big fan of the Funeary weapon set in GW2
I was working on collecting all available weapons of this set.

The Sethrak bow is somewhat similar. The artstyles of the two games are vastly different, but I still love this bow. And is what I plan to don on my Sethrak hunter.

True. That bow is one of the better ones in the game imo.
Would be cool to have some more snake themed bows to choose from though. I really like how the GW2 ones have the snakes coiling around the bow.

I ran Temple of Sethraliss again last night and took a bunch of screen shots to show just how large the Sethrak city is implied to be. I believe a large swath of Vol’dun is parts of their empire.
I would LOVE if Blizzard allowed us to explore that at some point in the future.
I tried to get down to some of the levels where you can see some other npcs, but did not succeed. 
Also, Hershey’s ref sheet is getting nearer to being finished. It looks so good! I can’t wait to share it with everyone. Glad I trusted my gut on this one and went with the artist I did.

I understand that having snake adorned armour would be fun to have but as heritage armour it’s a bit strange. You don’t see naked blood elves all over mine own set? Lol

That’s a bit different. xD And a terrifying mental image. Thanks for that. (Thought it wouldn’t be weird if the Blood Elves worshipped a god or goddess that appeared in the form of an elf)
Sethrak raise cobras. And their Loa is a giant snake. I could see them honoring her by donning armor with the images of a snake on it.
I do think their heritage armor would be more akin to what we see some of the NPCs wear. As it is iconic to them.

I think a more fitting set would include maybe a cobra on the head piece but something more akin to ancient Egyptian fashion, albeit modified for the chic Sethrak in mind. Tapered white garments with reds and blues throughout. That’s just a preliminary idea, though I think it a sound one

Yes. Or even on a single pauldron.
I could not see a Sethrak wearing a headdress or helm that was a giant snake head. They already have a snake head. xD
It’s like when Worgen wear that dumb wolf helm.
Any one of these or variants could work well as Heritage armor.

I knew what you meant. There was a skin from HotS posted further up that showed just a giant cobra head as the helm. So I was referencing that as well.

I think what you were referring to is the Uraeus.
I can find a lot of statues and art as well as the sarcophagus depicting this on the headdresses but cannot find a real relic yet, in the form of headdress or armor piece.
Now I wonder if Sethraliss is a nod to Wadjet, the Cobra Goddess of Ancient Egypt.
She has similar domains to Sethraliss.
Or perhaps a hybrid of Wadjet and Quetzalcoatl’s domains.
