All of this makes me REALLY interested as to the intended purpose of the Sethrak files datamined for 9.0.
I really do think Emeni is at the very LEAST a nod to the fact that Sethrak are popular and it does make them a relevant race into (near future) current content.
Meanwhile Sethraliss Appears in the HORDE side of things with Talanjiās ascension to queen. Lets face it. it wasnāt meant to be. Let animals be a horde thing while alliance can keep those humanoids. IF ANYTHING you guys can get furbolgs someday. That makes more sense.
Most of us are fine with Sethrak on the Horde side as long as we get them playable. 
We can have preferences but weāre not disagreeing with ya. People still active in this thread are just advocating to get them on the character creation screen, since it is the megathread.
Donāt think anyone believes Sethrak arenāt poised to go Horde, but Iām not willing to give up yet. Weirder things have happened.
But letās not pretend that the Alliance being different kinds of humans for the most part is set in stone. Let em ask for the beast races.
Long as the society can vibe with the Alliance, they should be just as viable.
I think the Sethrak could fit.
Donāt get me wrong though. Iāll take em either side.
And heck, they can always be worked to be neutral! 
The ideal situation I think.
Yeah and I have seen plenty of people say they feel they are neutral if anything. And with a treaty in place, etc I donāt see why not.
Still think Alliance could get Faithless Sethrak. Be they reformed or not.
Then Horde get The Devoted.
But hey, just make them playable please, Blizz.

Personally i hate neutral races
I think the factions should either be distinct and separate or we shouldnāt have factions at all.

Id be fine if they removed factions but I think if they want to keep them then they need to keep meaning something
Id be fine with no factions. It would mean I could trade between all my characters
This or cross faction play. My fiance always gives me a hard time when he catches me on my Horde toons. 
Then I could play a Sethrak while he plays his Dwarf. Though he wants playable Sethrak too. He thinks theyāre a really unique race and that then I would shut up about them. Lol
I think a big thing is that CURRENTLY the Sethrak would make more sense.
We donāt know what future storylines might be written in to get them to that allied race state.
I donāt think they would fit in the horde just because. They seem to be of more importance to the world than us. They are ancient etc. Iām not advocating for the to be playable altho it would be very interesting to have a snake like creature. If we wouldāve gotten more story than such a minor bit in alliance side then sure I could see the intent of a playable race. But it really wasnāt they never participated in any world quest or extra story against the horde or helping the alliance vs the horde etc.

I could be wrong but I dont remember doing any world quests for the sethrak on my alliance characters
They do for Horde for sure.
