This is the general consensus of the pro Sethrak community. We don’t care what the prerequisites are, we just want to see them playable. Doesn’t even matter what faction they go at this point. I’d gladly grind out a faction reputation, do a huge quest chain, a dungeon and then some to get me noodle people.

The discord is filled with a bunch of miserable people. It’s 10% actual discussion, 90% constant complaining about Blizzard, Mechagnomes, some contrived topic, etc. It’s an emotional and spiritual cesspit of perpetual pessimism. 0/10 do not recommend.

I mean, there’s nothing wrong with mechagnomes. They make complete sense for gnome AR. Not my thing but I’m not going to be a giant horse’s flank about it or to those who like them.

And it’s not like mechagnomes being a AR would stop the possibility of Sethrak. Sethrak couldn’t be the gnome AR, even if they do pair well with Vulpera. Small race and small race is how it went.

Funny you say that Mechangnomes didn’t stop us from getting sethrak when it’s now confirmed we’re not getting an 8.3.5 lmao

Doesn’t mean we wont get Sethrak later. AR’s are likely to be used later as well. Its an easy system for adding races and not having to work too hard at it on Blizzards end while maximizing the players input into the game.

Why do we need 8.3.5 to get Sethrak?

Think they will be playable some day since Dat miners found Sethrak animations for holding the heart of azeroth for Sethrak and why else would they make those unless at some point they were going to be an allied race.

There are also Sethrak npc files datamined for 8.3. Which is weird if they aren’t going to be relevant coming up in the future.

At the very least, we can keep an eye out and see if they added anything to live servers with regards to Sethrak. If I happen to see anything, I’ll be sure to help report it here.
