Unlocking void elfs from a boosted 120 character?

So I just came back to the game. I stopped playing and moved to ffxiv with friends right at the beginning of legion, did not do much of the content from legion. Recently came back because I saw videos of void elfs and vulpera, bought bfa and pre ordered shadowlands and discovered you have to rep grind allied races.

I had a 120 boost with the pre order, boosted a hunter. How can I unlock void elfs from this character? It started me out in boralus harbor going into the brand new zones.

Go to legion content then to argus.

The restriction against boosting is for heritage armor. So if you unlock VEs, and then boost the VE, you won’t be able to get VE heritage armor.

Do I have to go through all of legion?

You’ll have to go over to the Broken Isles for Legion content. Your goal is to unlock the Argus zone and grind out world quests for Argussian Reach reputation. You also have to finish the storyline there.

To unlock Argus you have to do the following quest chain:

  • Uniting the Isles (Given by Khadgar in the Violet Citadel in Dalaran)
  • Armies of Legionfall (Given by Khadgar at Krasus’ Landing in Dalaran)
  • Assault on the Broken Shore (Same place as the last one, you can skip the scenario.)
  • The Hand of Fate (Given by Khadgar in the Violet Citadel in Dalaran)

You might have to log out and log back in if any of those quests don’t appear.

The last quest should take you directly to Argus. The questline is pretty linear after that so you shouldn’t have any trouble finishing the storyline and unlocking the world quests there.

While you need to do Argussian Reach rep in order to get the Void Elves, and it’s pretty easy nowadays, you can wait for the Prepatch if you don’t want to grind the rep.

Rep requirements for Allied Races are going away when the prepatch comes.

Yeah I heard that, I just didn’t want to wait till october
