I’m trying to unlock the mechagnomes and im down to the last dungen for the quest the mechagonian threat i only have Operation Mechagon-the mechoniginator
i was told to do the dungeon mechognome junkyard and workshop ive done them both twice and i don’t get credit
can anyone help me with what im doing wrong

Not sure if anything changed but did you hit exalted with the Rustbolt Resistance and complete the full Mechagon story first “The Mechagonian Threat”?
I dont think i did that but in the embassy it just says get level 50 and do the quest that i think im doing but not getting credit for
I am not sure then. I would just put in a ticket then and see what they say as they usually will at least guide you in the right direction then.
DO NOT put in a ticket. Just check the attunements here and then follow the Wowhead guide. A ticket wastes their time for them to tell you to go to Wowhead.
I would put in a ticket. You should only have to kill King Mechagon, not run the entire dungeon anyway. If you killed him and didn’t get credit than that’s most likely a bug.
Please don’t tell others what not to do when they followed what they were supposed to do. If they want to do a ticket, which is something they should do, then they can.
Do you still need to max the rep or has that gone now?
Blizzard doesn’t help with this kind of thing. They tell you to check Wowhead, saying they can’t give information on it or help with quests. And that is exactly where all of the information is on how to unlock these races. We’ve been through this countless times on the forums with people. Many of us have personally gone through this, as well.
Advising someone to read the guides and check their attunement is the right course of action, otherwise they waste two days waiting for Blizz to say “go check Wowhead, we can’t help with quests.”
So yes, I will most certainly tell someone the best route to take to get all of the information they need for their AR unlocks. It’s literally all right here, including the blue post clarification:
You still need to hit revered for the quest to unlock.
According to wowhead you need to do it in heroic mode, not m+. Also, players no longer require revered to unlock quest.
