Short answer: It is already in use. However, that does not stop 2,363,114 Paladins from mogging Ashbringer. That said, Ashbringer was still intact.

I could do the same and make you all a reforged Shadowmourne! In fact, step right up, come get your Reforged Shadowmorne!”
Frankly, I wish they would retcon the Legion artifact so that it can be reforged into a *2h * weapon that looks like the original. Maybe offer both 1h and 2h versions.
If not that, then I want a replica that offers different colors (including one version that has the same colors as the original Frostmourne) that looks exactly like the original. The iconic DK weapon. As a *2h * weapon specifically.
I still get mad every time I see the toothpicks of the fallen prince in my bank because I wasn’t given the option to have the frost dk artifact reforged into a proper *2h * weapon (specifically). Not toothpicks. I wish I could destroy the frost dk artifact.

Players can literally already run around with the Ashbringer just by doing a few trivial quests.
A replica version of the OG 2H Frostmourne does not need to be complicated to obtain.
That’s a crest, not a sword.
Frostmourne has been in the lore long before Shadowlands. It was in WC3, Wrath of The Lich King expansion, and even in Legion.

Its hilarious that frostmourne is avaible yo every other blizz ip, (overwatch and diablo) but not aviable in wow.
I agree. I was just attempting to appeal to their higher ups who are only interested in the money earned from the game, and give the devs a bone to toss to the greed that plagues the top of the chain for decisions.
I would love if it was very easy to obtain, but knowing Blizzard, if it was ever put into the game for us, it would be locked behind a tedious arbitrarily drawn out grind / quest line, or it would cost a lot of money on the shop.
We didn’t just shatter it, it got reforged into the Frost DK artifact weapons.

You can, just still takes several weeks of farming. And the Infusion quests are Zzzzzzzz. I don’t recall if they’ve made changes to it to make Blood Infusion any easier. You need at least like 6 people for it.

There’s a reason the legion artifact is called Blades of the Fallen Prince and not Frostmourne, because they aren’t. Lore is meaningless drivel as players run around wearing Sylvanas’s outfit while flailing doomhammer, ashbringer, etc
