I have a few Gnome warlocks lol. Then again - I have Gnome everything lolololol.
Because to be a DK has one requirement: you died.
To be a demon hunter requires a soul binding ritual and training from a specific individual, who has yet to actually pass that on, and fell in a wormhole with a giant space satan titan.
The only situation in which demon hunters should be unlocked for more people is if they bring back the Legion (again) and do what they did with DK’s, which is basically “Hey guys, round 2, we’re gonna need some more though.”

I love running timewalking Black Morass or Durnholde with a DH. Sometimes they get cloaked as a gnome, when they pop the wings, it looks like a little moth.

I would have a Tauren DH in a New York Minute. Just a giant cow jumping and gliding all over would be amazing.
Because lore. It wouldn’t make sense. And plus, pretty sure the Taurens do not want people turning into Fel infused demon hunters.

Making sense never stopped Blizz. Hell, they said they aren’t against retconning their lore.
Tauren don’t want their dead being turned into undead. Most races don’t want their dead being turned into undead yet it happens without any sort of consequence.

Well, they did with out any consent. Arthas didn’t go up to King Varian and was like, can I take some of your dead fellows and bring them back as the Scourge? Illidan is not that type of guy. I want to say he asked Kael for some of his men to see if they will turn into a demon Hunter which they followed suit.

I was talking about the current crop of Deathknights, which are new, when Blizz opened them up to all races. You would think that would raise quite a big alarm, especially after they attacked Lights Hope Chapel. We went to Northrend and fought Arthas over this sorta thing.
Personally, I’m not a big demon hunter fan. I get why they are only elves. Still feels weird to lock a hero class around two races, both elves, even if they are really popular. Some people just aren’t interested in playing elves. /raises hand and waves lol

None of this “here’s a few lines of unvoiced dialog, and now there are Tauren Paladins!” BS.
Why would you even want to be a DH to not fight demons? You have the Void for everything else.
All races for all classes, they don’t have to be prominent in the lore, but people should be able to play what they want on whatever the want.
I don’t see why most races can’t be a DH, but I can say it is incompatible with the furry races. All the fel when you injest that demon blood and meat…it burns. A furry would just be ash soon after. That or look like a Sphynx cat/hairless rat.
I think all races should be all classes.

Illidan trained all of two races.
Arthas and Bolvar didn’t care what race you were. I still hate that Lightforged can become DKs, but thats another topic.
Why would the Illidari subject anyone else to the ritual to make more? And anyone that tried (or, the one in five that even survived) would most likely get put down because they don’t answer to anyone (not to mention the insanely likely chance of their demon taking over).

If pandas don’t make sense as Demon hunters, then why does Illidan have pandas on his glaives?!

Art assets are the issue. Same as Druids.
But at least Orcs and Draenei would make sense.
