Again though, why is what I said earlier a strawman? They 100% are bringing back the Violet Spellwing and the Trial of Valor deathless sets. That isn’t me making stuff up, Blizzard themselves have said this and there are achievements for it. So, yeah, they technically have gone back on their word of “never bringing XYZ back.”

If I’m honest, I believe it should have been left exclusive but it is what it is.
I believe both should have had recolors:
• A mage tower skin/form with a brand new recolor for each spec.
• A recolored Spellwing.
That, to me, is the proper middle ground solution.

I think a better way to solve this is:
- obviously admit to the error
- put the forms back in game as earnable, maybe as a different way of doing so.
- the werebear (white/brown/black/red) should be baseline, same as the ones that used to be linked to your hair color (default skins for each race)
I was on my ret pally the other day, did the questline to earn a legendary skin for ashbringer, held up the sword even but was NOT given it as it was taken out of the game.
It makes no sense to have things in game but take them out.

I feel like the exact same thing could be said about how y’all feel.
At the end of the day we’re debating about artificial scarcity of digital goods. We’re arguing about things that are make-believe.
Not trying to necessarily devalue how people feel, but if you think it’s not a big deal they’re not coming back then why should anyone feel like it’d be a big deal if they did come back?
There’s better things to disagree on in a game like this, like class balance.
With far more fervor, considering facts are on our side.
I will absolutely devalue how gatekeepers feel, especially when they just straight up lie to have any kind of stance. Every time.
And that should always be the method. Let those who wanna challenge themselves get feat of strengths and access to the rewards first. And as time goes on, lock the FoS and make it easier. And then later on make it trivial or tied to a separate grind (like bronze in timewalking or the anniversary sets).
