And when you got those who are gatekeeping going around with insults and toxicity, I kind of wish moderation would actually take moderation a bit more serious with these, since people seem to think they can get away with such behaviour.
Unfortunately, all you can really do is report and put them on ignore.
That is what I have been doing. But just removing post is making people think they can get away with it and think no further action will be taken when they continue.
Well, I think that’s stupid. When this game started, Druids could us any form they wished, if I’m remembering correctly.
This remix sure seems to have a lot of “not funs”…
All I read in that wall of text was “No classic right now because we cant due to technical reasons”
Oh look, they rectified those technical reasons.
So again I ask, where did they state “No, never going to happen?”
This statement so obviously applies to you it’s not even funny
Says the guy who purchased his account?
They change mind, I un-sub. Easy solution for me.
They absolutely will at some point. It’s inevitable.
They absolutely will at some point. It’s inevitable.
Guess we’ll find out in another 15 years?
Guess we’ll find out in another 15 years?
You mean 7?
They won’t.
Blizzard might not have. Blizzard is no longer in control. They’ll do as they’re told, and Microsoft will milk every penny out of its new asset.
Cosmetics offer no in game advantage. You can still perform your role entirely fine regardless of what you look like.
Who cares? Your happiness should not built on top of others’ upset.
In what way will they me upset?
How is the upset of 500 people worth the lack of upset of 100 people?
90% of my colleagues would agree have a PTO every week. Still applied?
Yes.
You did said.
Yep.
At no point did I say wow is “as good as before”.
I said that wow is still here and uneffected (compared to your hyperbole about wow dying) after making limited items return.
It is a fact.
But doesn’t matter now. Almost 90% of the posts and replies in the forum are opinions.
The fact is: it is not coming back.
That’s not how facts work.
The actual way to state it is. “Currently blizzard has established their stance that they have no intentions of bringing mage tower appearances back” and many players disagree with that stance. At least ~600.
And we’ll keep voicing our displeasure until
A: They bring them back.
B: The servers close for good.
As is our right.
It is a fact, unfortunately.
It really depends on what you mean by “right” do you mean morally? do you mean mathematically? do you mean objectively?
Why are people who are so absolutely certain i
I can’t spreak fort anyone else but I am not certain it will come back especially without feedback of 100s if not thousands of people asking for it to return. Why would they bring back something the players have no interest in? Same reason garrisons don’t make a return as current content.
You were quoting me “ majority doesn’t mean right.” and say it is not a fact. Dont switch topic until you prove it is not a fact.
You made the claim lol.
90% of my colleagues want PTOs every week. I guess it is the right thing to do for you.
Yes, actually lol.
It is so funny to see you guys trying to relate everything, every facts to video games. But hey, you do you.
You literally brought up something about work.
I don’t care. They change mind, I un-sub. Easy solution for me.
You’ll be back.
And if you don’t. It’ll be a dropin the bucket. I’m sure I can convicne at least one person to sub and help them gear to do MT to get the appearances back that’ll make up for your sub missing.
People unsub for not getting pixels that 10 years ago. New here?
What someone else does, isn’t related to what you do.
Good. Less gatekeepers there is, the better.
True. smaller playerbase that’s less toxic versus big playerbase that is toxic is a net win. As it makes it easier to welcome in new players.
That opinion, not fact. LOL
Nope. It’s just human behavior. If people go into a new place and are treated like garbage they are more likely to leave and stay while if they go to a new place and are treated well they are more likely to stay than leave.
I think we’re losing the plot here with this argument. I think the worst part about ALL of this is that Legion has had known bugs in it for over a decade - some of them quite nasty - and they persist to this day. But druid forms accidentally get added? The devs scramble like mad to fix that RIGHT away.
Really sheds some light on their priorities. Gameplay can suffer, but free cosmetics?!? gasp Oh noez!
They absolutely will at some point. It’s inevitable.
I’m not so confident, but I am hopeful <3
Blizzard might not have. Blizzard is no longer in control. They’ll do as they’re told, and Microsoft will milk every penny out of its new asset.
And it’s cheaper to rereleas eold stuff than make new assets.
if we go by the portals for m+ now that means that they just “added” something that were not thought of from the start.
based on that we could see some fel recolors of MT in the tomb phase. You got about a 0.00001% chance but there is a chance!
give fel cat ![]()
There’s no way to know what will return and what won’t, because Blizzard keeps changing its stance on exclusivity. There’s no clear rule, and players can never be sure what’s truly limited or not.
For example:
- In the Mists of Pandaria Challenge Mode, only one phoenix could be earned by completing all challenges in silver. But at the end of the expansion, all four phoenixes were granted to players who had obtained just one. The class sets remained exclusive, but the mounts didn’t.
- In the Warlords of Draenor Challenge Mode, if you completed the gold timer with a specific class, you only received that class’s weapons. Later, Blizzard made all challenge weapons available across the account. For example, I got the bow and gun on my hunter, and then all my other characters received every weapon as well.
- During Legion, the Mythic +15 appearance was originally as limited as the Mage Tower one, but Blizzard later changed that and made it obtainable again, while the Mage Tower skins remain locked.
Even more recently, there are inconsistencies with mount rewards:
6-month subscription mounts often appear in the store right after the promotion ends, while 12-month ones stay exclusive. And in the Remix events, the AOTC mount from the Mists of Pandaria Remix remained exclusive, but the one from the Legion Remix will be available again.
All of this shows there’s no fixed rule. Players never know what will stay exclusive and what might return. And when someone spends time earning something they believe is unique, it feels unfair when Blizzard later brings it back.
The rules keep changing, and that makes it all about luck: playing the right class, at the right time, in the right expansion, doing the right content — otherwise, you risk missing out on cool rewards forever.
Is all this intentional, or is Blizzard just lost? Does this FOMO generate profit for the company, or does it just drive players crazy?
Is all this uncertainty even healthy for us as players? Just look at how many arguments happen on the forums because of these inconsistencies.
In my opinion, they should’ve brought everything back in fun Remix seasons like these. Just like Timewalking, it could let us relive old expansions and earn rewards inspired by the past while still playing current content.
Mop remix and the trading post had class appearances and weapons that were only usable by said class. After mop remix and the trading post went away they removed these restrictions on the armor and weapons so people who didnt play x class didnt get x classes armor because they didnt know itd eventually become class agnostic
This is 100% the only reason people on these forums complain to keep the mage tower weapons exclusive.
They lose their investment if mage tower weapons become obtainable again.
This new conspiracy is neat. You’re doing great.
What someone else does, isn’t related to what you do.
Then why trolling if I do the same thing others can do? People can unsub because they are unhappy about blizzard’s decision, so can I.
