I’ve never seen the community argue with itself more than I have over the mage tower appearances in legion remix. Why take away from players instead of giving a way for all players to earn it?

This is such a perfect top post by the way, it sums up the situation so perfectly.
Blizzard acting like people want things for free when we just WANT to earn things others had a chance to earn, when we’ve had three separate opportunities:
- Classic servers
- Return of the mage tower
- Return of Legion in remix
That could have given players that opportunity. It’s wild. Just wild.

Bad decision, as expected. No one wants you to do this. What happened to listening to feedback from the players? We have given you resounding feedback that we want these forms, and you continue to ignore us. Maybe we can get the druid discord to shut down until you release the forms to everyone, or at the very least, make them available to earna gain.

This is the part that really bugs me. There’s no way they don’t know that the Mage Tower was completely trivialized, but continue the narrative that it’s to maintain prestige. They really are just blatantly lying in in the interest of maintaining FOMO.

You can’t ‘earn’ it unless you mimic the exact encounters with the exact specs & exact influences aka Legion.
If anything, they should have added recolors, 1 per spec with a remastered remix mage tower.
But then again, people would just cry /FOMO when remix goes away so where does it end?
Honestly, people need to get over it you didn’t earn it big deal.
There’s thousands of other mogs in the game already good lord I’ve never seen so many complainers in my life.

The chosen dead sets from Trial of Valor raid, I do believe they were supposed to be exclusive during that patch. they brought them back they were supposed to be exclusive AOTC mount was supposed to be exclusive… keeping the mage tower weapons an exclusive club is silly…

It is crazy how much extra work yall put in to make the game worse.
The forms made people happy, they should be earnable. The whole point of doing remix is getting vanity items like transmog, pets, mounts. Some people got some appearances for ONE class on two different forms that they may not even use if they’re a boomkin or healer main and yall are putting in the extra time to remove that when stuff like Dawnbreaker ship has been broken for the entire expansion.
I don’t know why we pay you people, I really don’t.

I have never done mythic raid while current so how would I know.
If you never actually earned it in legion its not yours to keep. So it goes back as it was. Only those who earned them at the time have then.

Then I will cancel my subscription and advise all my friends to do the same, unless there is at least the possibility of earning it again instead of the bug. It looks like you don’t want to make any more money. That’s bad for your finances, not mine.

That’s true. I got my brewmaster one while we were progging through the new raid at the time. It was pretty difficult.
The other ones I got toward the end of the expac didn’t take half as much effort. They were practically given to you for just showing up with DBM installed.
Regardless, it was, like, 9 years ago… There’s no reason to put a hold on them when everything else can make a return. Prestige is a ridiculous notion in this game, when they’re giving out rare mythic raid appearances and collections for leveling alts.

While fixing bugs is good, not having them obtainable properly in the first place is a massive loss to the druid community. You should be able to see this clearly from the druid community reaction. This has overall been handled very poorly. Especially with the also removed AOTC mount coming back double standards.
You know it was so much joy seeing the druid dance parties in the Dreamgrove & in Dorn. Those of us who were not around 10 years ago for Legion or didn’t play a druid back then. Trying out & just hanging out in these forms we never got to experience. Knowing this was the likely outcome. Especially with their relatively unique models while our animal form selection is still limited.
You can still make them obtainable properly in the Legionfall patch. Or give us re-colors, if these things people did 10 years ago are so ‘sacred’ they must be preserved.
You’ve done so many re-colors of hard to obtain mounts.

Allow us to earn the appearances, even if temporarily during remix! Or better yet, make a poll for things like this. Let the COMMUNITY decide if something should be gatekept or not.
