I guarantee this wouldn’t have blown up in Blizzard’s face so much if they put out different tints of the werebear that aren’t covered in garbage like wood and fel runes. It’s a good compromise for all parties; you don’t see prot paladins and warriors crying that TWW basically invalidated any prestige their flails had, nor outlaw rogues malding out about the rapiers with the exact same silhouette as their MT appearance that Shadowlands dropped on everyone.
