Except WoW does it, and it’s literally the only big MMO left standing. FFXIV hasn’t been doing well, and they aren’t recovering any time soon… WoWs model is literally the most successful. You give everyone everything cool, and it sucks for everyone, and there’s absolutely zero reason to ever try going for anything in the future, as they’ll prob just give all the new stuff to everyone too. Very fast way to kill the entire game’s incentives. Why bother with aotc, why bother with seasonal rewards.
