Due to an unexpected bug, Legion Remix launched with a circumstance where druid players could use bear and cat forms that they did not earn.
Please know that we’re working on fixing this (and other bugs), and when we do fix it, we expect that the forms will no longer be usable for players who didn’t earn them.

People may be upset with this outcome but it would set a bad precedent to keep the bug in game. Better off asking for new skins for future challenges.

It was fun while it lasted. At least I got a pic of each form on my main druid for which I never played Legion.

I’m not shocked or surprised but I am very very sad. As someone who started in BFA and had no way to earn these, I really enjoyed my brief time spent as Sparklekitty.
Actually, when Evokers were first added there was a bug where they were very easily able to get the MoP world boss mounts – and rather than take them away Blizzard decided to make the drop rates in-line with every other raid mount (so they went from 1 in 2000 to 1 in 100 effectively).
I think it would make a lot of people happy to just, y’know, bring back the Mage Tower appearances by putting them back in the Mage Tower. Having more evergreen rewards to work towards is in-line with the current game’s philosophy.
And like, how can you bring back the AOTC bird but not these? That’s just a double standard.
Damn, it would’ve been an easy W for your time played metrics to make all the mage tower skins a huge grind for like 5m bronze each or something
