Let people retain them, more players happy with their druids due to a bug? Sounds like more happy customers willing to play more. Let the purists rage, they always have in WoW and keep playing.
The stakeholders don’t care what-so-ever. IT’s unlikely this issue will cause many people to quit or join over. Not enough to make them force a decision on bliz.
I understand why the change itself needs to be done since, iirc, it just kind of unlocks everything for some people and wasn’t giving everyone both options.
BUT these forms are kind of unique? It’s also really annoying, as a Guardian Druid who earned Balance of Power in Legion, to not be able to use my cat form equivalent to the Avatar of Ursol when i use cat form for Druid of the Claw hero talents. At the time of Legion, it seemed like the forms were slated to always be specialization locked, tied to the artifact weapon transmog.
I still kind of kick myself for having looked at that and decided ‘then i wont bother’ lmao. But I did so because of the precedent blizzard had set. The rules for artifact druid forms changed after it was no longer available, and it would be nice to be able to earn these.
Lord forbid Blizz’s PVP or raid balancer be off by a degree for one of dozens of classes and all the tryhard gatekeepers will be out like white on rice saying that Blizzard is over.
Meanwhile Quibunerf is flooding the goalpost with garbage to sideline the conversation.
WE deserve to EARN it. Deserve. Gatekeepers can eat their heart out, because that’s the key word. Deserve. If they get spellwing, WE get sparkle cat.
My guess is that since this thread has by far eclipsed all other Remix threads…Blizzard is aware and trying to figure out a solution that will appease all parties.

Please add more to the barbershop then if you want to keep it for people who earned it during legion.
i have 6 days left on my sub and was going to renew to have fun with Werebear because i was having a lot of fun in wow at present because its something i didnt have time to unlock during legion due to real life problems.
However ill just continue to play Twow and bronzebeard which is free. And they also have tank shamans which is also extremely fun
vocal minority does not dictate anything. Majority of the people that play this game never log onto the forums. In my raid group there is 1 person who posts on the forums. In my classic raid team there’s still only 1 person who posts on the forums. There’s such a small fraction of the playerbase that comments on these forums that you cannot try to dictate anything that the loudest whiners think is right, because they are completely detached from the reality of the game.
People that post on the forums. They are always whining about things, never happy about anything. Oh no your form you didnt do any effort for got taken away and theres people demanding it be given back to them for nothing. Get real. Thats not how the real world works.
