Thank you blizzard for sticking to your guns.
If you went along with this then this opens a whole can of worms that could never be closed.

this thread is making me lol out loud
I literally can’t turn in a quest in Remix cause of lag and such… but you guys are worried about this petty stuff to remove.
It"s remix. Who cares? Let people use the damn skins in Remix for the three months the event is going. If people move the toon over to retail, THEN they lose the skins like they should.
Why do you guys constantly find ways to spit on your players while supposedly valuing us as customers but more importantly, players supporting the game.
Classic Blizzard L
Thanks for the clarity and getting out the message quickly. I was able to let my friends know to not bother resubbing.
It’s not permanently locked I hope. I was just leveling the toon for Remix. I didnt even know I had the form until later.
Hey there, Kaivax.
For those of us who aren’t on the Legion Remix train at the moment (hoping for big excitement for all who are, though!), should we conclude from the absolute dead silence from any blues since the myriad problems the MoP Classic Server merge brought to light as an indication that the good, communicative folks @Blizzard will no longer be supporting Mists of Pandaria Classic, due to having too much on their plate with Legion Remix and the Midnight Alpha?
Just trying to confirm, since my guildies and I spent $300+ on paid server transfers that @Fwoibles told us were on sale, and would work, and they havent.
For 10 days and counting.
With not a single response from any blue, on any channel (including support tickets, CS forum, MoP Classic Forum, and Twitter).
Before my guild and I incure further monetary harm and damages from doing something silly and unreasonable like taking a Game Director’s bluepost at face value, can we get confirmation on the sunsetting of MoP Classic support?
Congratulations, the right attitude to take. many players want to take advantage of bugs to have an advantage in the game.
For god’s sake, just make the Legion mage tower skins obtainable again. And instead of cracking down on fun, maybe fix your game’s atrocious lag?? Lol
Please make sure to fix the flight form bug as well!
Thank you!
The right choice. Thanks for the relatively speedy announcement!
They didn’t stick to their guns though.
AOTC mount was advertised as a “never coming back” reward, same with trial of valor.
?
Definitely fix this instead of the numerous bugs that make remix unplayable. Just bring them back already.
Thank you blizzard for sticking to your guns and not caving to all the children throwing tantrums about not being able to get something.
As far as Blizzard’s concerned, the Mage Tower rewards are more ‘prestigious’ than AotC and the two are not in the same category. We can agree or not with their definitions, but at the end of the day they’re the one making those calls.
I understand that the issue originated from an unintended bug, but this situation once again highlights a broader concern regarding Blizzard’s recurring use of FOMO-driven (Fear of Missing Out) design practices. Such approaches are ultimately harmful to the player base, especially to those who were unable to participate in content released nearly a decade ago.
Blizzard, as a long-standing and respected developer, has both the means and the responsibility to provide fair opportunities for all players to obtain cosmetic forms and appearances, particularly when these items hold purely aesthetic value and have no gameplay impact. Locking them away permanently creates unnecessary division between the small minority who happened to play at a certain time and the majority who did not.
There are many ways to preserve a sense of prestige or exclusivity without denying access altogether. Other studios have demonstrated this successfully: Final Fantasy XIV and No Man’s Sky, for instance, consistently make older and time-limited content available again through alternative means, respecting both veteran and new players alike.
It would be greatly appreciated if Blizzard could reconsider its stance on legacy cosmetics and adopt a more inclusive approach that values the entire community rather than a select few.
I mean, they brought back the AOTC bird. So what can of worms are you referring to, exactly?
Having an entire community begging for these skins, saying no, then dangling them in our faces with this bug just to snatch them back and say “Just kidding!” Just makes it so much worse.
Just bring back mage tower.
Okay, now remove the violet spellwing that you put back in the game for what reason? Completely hypocritical.
Oh no, people can be sparkle cats ![]()
