While I agree with a lot of what you’ve said here, I think letting this topic die is not the way to go.
We truly want change, so we need to voice this - along with our reasons, until we finally see that change.

Yes, letting the “thread die” is the equivalent of giving up, and let’s Blizzard wash their hands of it. That’s not the right way to go at all.
If the “trolls” (personally, I wouldn’t soil the Azeroth Troll with relation to those in the forum calling us “spoiled”, “emotionally manipulative”, “idiots”, or whining about how their Blizzard overlords will never let us have their precious skins “because they said so”!) in the forum bother you that much, slap them on ignore, and continue the conversation.
They cannot be reasoned with as they are, indeed, ignorant children in the bodies of what I can assume are fully matured (at least physically) humans. Continue the civil discussion and ignore them. Eventually, when they don’t get the attention they want, they’ll move on to other topics to spread their maliciousness.

Except they gave a logical reason to why they arent available. They gave it multiple times. Over and over for 14/12/10 years. Youre the one who cant accept this fact and continue to call it “illogical” simply because you dont agree with it

I’d do anything for a rainbow or pink sparkling kitty without the claw weapons (on the cat model)… or one with a flowery trail.
I wish restoration would’ve gotten at least a tree form, or something, from the old MT.

I got the MT appearance back in Legion and I accept Blizzard’s announcement that those appearances won’t be returning. For me, it’s not even about having something others don’t have as I don’t even use artifact appearances very often, nevermind the MT one. I just like that they drew a line in the sand that can be referred back to when it comes to so-called ‘exclusivity’ and ‘prestige’. In this case, Blizz has officially said that on one hand, limited-time ‘challenge mode’ rewards are the pinnacle of prestige alongside rated PvP rewards and will remain exclusive to those who earned them when they were available. On the other hand, limited-time raid rewards like AotC have been determined to not hit that mark.
Since they said outright that MT appearances won’t be returning and it’s their game, mine and others’ options are to either accept it or not. We’re not the ones creating the game—we’re the ones consuming it. They offer it up and it’s our choice to either play it or move to something else that we find more enjoyable.
Of course you’re content. You both had the opportunity to earn the appearances AND have obtained it.
Most people can’t relate to you there.

Critical logic error. Advocating for everyone to have a path to the forms is very different then a minority of people that want to prevent access.
Access for all existing and future players…
Access for only those that were playing during Legion.
One is not selfish especially when that advocacy is coming from people that were able to unlock the skins in Legion. In contrast the other position is very selfish… Honestly the very nature of using the form in front of others you know will never be able to access the forms and feeling good about that is selfish at its core.

Everyone had the opportunity to obtain it. You made choices and you have to accept them.
This is the most ridiculous statement I’ve ever seen. No, in no way is it selfish for people to use a form. Nor is it selfish for people to want their achievements and hard work respected.

That’s just factually not true.
There are a LOT of players who came to WoW in BFA or later. And more players will continue to join WoW.
And if you’re meaning for those who were here: some people had life circumstances that prevented them from having the opportunity to earn the forms. I for example, was under 18, living in Alaska, with really bad parents, and was only allowed to use 25gb of internet either every 2 weeks or every month (I forget)… which isn’t much data. I also was a kid & didn’t realize the “sparkle forms” were part of the mage tower. I thought they were separate. With the janky setup and constraints I had - it’s a miracle I even got it done on my disc priest. But regardless of MY situation: Many other players had other “life situations” going on that would’ve likewise - prevented them from being able to get those appearances.

And that is still a choice THEY made. They CHOSE to play WoW after Legion.
Most of the complaints don’t even come from those players. They come from players like you who simply just chose to not prioritize mage tower weapons and now regret it. So let’s not do the whole “think of the children” narrative. You don’t give a damn about any of that.
While I’ve also accepted they aren’t coming back; something about it that bothers me personally is that in one of the dev interviews it was stated by Ion that 99.99% of all things are still obtainable. Having 0.01% of items being unobtainable is fine honestly. In druids case, roughly 10% of their forms are unobtainable. While the 99.99% number may not be entirely accurate, I think comparing the numbers really helps to show why so many druids are upset.

No shot yall are still insisting on this. Theres no reason to not add these in to the remix as obtainable skins. You’re literally just keeping fun content out of a mode thats entire purpose is to obtain cosmetics from that expansion.

Do you know what percent it is for cat and bear forms? I’m pretty sure its around 10% for both of them, but I’m not denying I could be wrong. Either way that percentage is well above the average.
Edit: If wowhead is right, 4/ 36 cat forms are unavailable so 11.1% and 4/ 39 bear forms are unavailable so 10.3%. 10.7% for a given race if you combine both of them.

Some people also could’ve had health issues - which are completely out of their control. There are a LOT of reasons for why people may not have been capable or able to get them, despite it being achievable for those with easy access to wow.

Correct. Because they’re Legion MT appearances. None of the MT appearances are back. Why isn’t fel bear good enough?
I missed chunks of it for the same reason. I still made time when I could to get what I wanted- not everybody can and Blizzard isn’t responsible for it. You accept the inconveniences of missing out on every day fun when you choose to serve your country. Suck it up.

I was younger than you and I still got the mage tower skins because I knew they would be going away.
Yes, we all understand that life happens. You also had over a year to get the appearances though.
Regardless, it’s time to get over it. It’s ONE skin.
