You’re discussing and debating exactly how I started months ago. Give it a few more days, and you’ll join me with single sentence responses akin to “ain’t coming back, go next”. It doesn’t matter what you say, what reasons you have to keep the appearances locked, it’ll all be dismissed in wake of “but I don’t have it, and I want it, therefore I deserve it”.
I’m at that point already for the most part. To his credit, despite fundamentally disagreeing with me, this guy has been well mannered and engaging in discussion rather than simply kicking and screaming as most of the people in this thread.
well it is kind of funny that there’s a plethora of gameplay related bugs that have still not been addressed in both versions of the game…and they hotfixed the sparkle cat faster than my character with all the speed tertiaries on my gear!
Sorry but this entire situation with blizzard makes them

embarassing and disrespectful. Annnnnnd there won’t be any sparkle cats until Ion is not the game director anymore, that’s a fact. Guess you we better be happy with our walmart quality and effort cat forms from here on out! 
just remember, Ion does not care about you for playing his game…and that goes for either side of this discussion (the haves and the have nots)
the only reason this was fixed was because it affected the ego of people on the developer team (that have these forms). if they had no horse in this race, we’d still be bickering about the forms being in the game. (which to be fair, ya’ll will keep doing anyway so…carry on

Permanently removing one challenges appearance (Mage tower) while returning another (AoTC and chosen dead) based on their stated belief and feelings isn’t really apathetic.
there has been no tears she, there has been expression of bitterness of whats been lost, and yet no yelling no screaming Not calling anyone names This is far from a tantrum or a fit, it a disagreement that will continue to stay.
Whether you believe me or not, the scenario happened, blizzard has the ability to look into this, they chose not to on their policy, sure i clearly am making up this wild outlandish scenario to ask them to either give me my one appearance back or to make a way for people to earn them again, so i can also earn my own back is disrespectful. The double stardard with the AoTC mount and chosen dead shows the malice.
You were the one verified my claim i had indeed gotten the achievement to even have weapons on my account and asked for the character like it would be some separate account. again why would i lie about having 4/36s weapons… thats absurd…
For mage tower it required you to complete a quest for tanks it was Highlord’s return. Quest being marked incomplete by the character means no achievement for that specific character which means no weapons. Highlord’s return marked incomplete when I had completed it means no more mage tower appearance and achievement.

nothing do with the mage tower right now. If there was indeed a unanimous consensus among the player base would you agree blizzard would listen to us as whole community?
Comparing mage tower to mop and wod challenge modes is also apples to oranges. and yet they still made the decision based on that. So I am gonna keep spinning my wheels till they fall off!
This really is a bad move on their end, there’s been nothing prestigious about those appearances, especially after antorus had hit, PvE was always easy, and regarding cosmetic things who realistically cares?
let people earn them in Legion Remix Plus THE OTHER CLASSES VERSIONS of Mt appearances, if you’re “forced” to take them away.
The fact this had to be a blue post “priority” is also bad regarding colleges, people have been reporting countless issues in Lemix, that should’ve been targeted first. plus the Bear/cat appearances are purely cosmetic and not the artifact itself.
and a better option also being why not remove the line of code requiring a now non existing quest so people can have the Alt colors of the main while in the process unlocking the other classes stuff as long as you had one character do the challenge?

I earned it, I had it, I no longer have it, I want it back or a way to earn back, is a pretty reasonable stance. others should be allowed to earn it too and not be punished for not existing at the right time.

Dangling the sparkling cats in front of me like that has lit a fire under my a**. And is way too cruel to those who have dreamed of owning those forms through the mage tower challenge. I feel in the debate no matter if you are yay or nay. We are also forgetting those that ‘were’ around for Legion and still didn’t get the forms…
Ive always vocalized strongly about this.
I was one who would try the encounters properly, definitely not good or geared enough to find cheese. I was at 300+ goes though and a lot of determination; 100+ into the last couple days right up to the moment of the reset that took those amazing forms away.
So missed out. As a heavy feral main. It’s devastated me for 10 years.
But… This is the decision of blizzard.
Regardless… I’m sure there are more, even better forms that await us. They owe it to us now.
Make it tough and challenging, blizzard has the keys to unlocking our endorphins.
All I can do now is try again and hope to god that time is on my side this do-over

Ok but what was the point of you making that remark in the first place? I mean, what was its purpose? To invalidate someone’s accomplishments and ‘knock them down a peg or two’? They proved something that you doubted? I’m confused why you would make that remark about what someone did or didn’t do and being on an alt account if it wasn’t to be rude about it and demean someone.
Because you want to play forum detective? Therein lies the “laughable” part.
Not at all. It’s easy for some to claim they have x item when they’re using an account with not a lot on it.
It’s dope that they have that achievement but I don’t instantly believe comments from those accounts but that’s just me.
It’s easy to jump to conclusions but things can be handled a little less accusatory. I find it happening a lot on these forums with people jumping to blame and accuse people in a more negative way instead of just asking if they can link their main/achieves.
I didn’t accuse or blame. I mentioned to another player that they’re on an alt account and not directly the person with the account.
It’s hard to perceive the emotion or tone behind text so I apologize for making that assumption. Case in point of the chain that led us here.
As someone who works in development
In all likelihood the developer team responsible for the barbershop likely had bandwidth to address it quickly. They are very likely to be complete different from the team of devs that handle network routing.
The former are likely software developers, the later have a very good chance at being dedicated Network engineers, more commonly seen under a division of IT, and may not actually have any significant coding ability.
Both of those groups are different from the CMs who post on the forums.

Are you arguing that people who don’t use the forum will have received a heads up from the forum?
That is a…strange premise to base an argument on. Especially since the part of my post that you quoted (I will assume you read the entire thing, even though you seem to have missed the first part) specifically says ‘in game’.
So…your response to me saying ‘nothing in game gives them a heads up’ is to say ‘well, there’s something out of the game that tells them’.
Because that is entirely irrelevant to what I mentioned. And I suspect you know that. I hope you do, in any case.
