Honestly mainly noting if this is a hacks/cheats one CS isn’t going to be giving anymore details beyond confirming it’s hacks/cheats. I lurk there and that’s the one category they don’t really give details on exactly what the OP did beyond confirming type of infraction.
They definitely call out anything else, though. Just this smells of hacks/cheats infraction type.
On top of everything else the OP would have gotten an email explaining exactly what he did wrong.

The real culprit to improper bans is a lot of it is automated and not heavilt scrutinized. This issue is prevelant across multiple industries.

As suggested, the CS forums may be able to provide some assistance in finding out more about the penalty.
