Underpin ? ? is overtuned

Hoping this gets nerfed like Zek’vir did. It’s not to bad for classes that are performing better DPS wise but for classes that aren’t like Ret Paladin, even when you play absolutely perfect you fall behind on adds. Adds obviously have nothing to do with DPS but higher dps classes can burn him faster ignoring more adds.

I guess the point is, you can’t really control where his crony’s land, you kinda can but even when you put them where you want, there’s always a few who decide to spawn way out of the area you need them in. It’s just a nightmare because the clicking mechanic on the bombs is just as scufffed as Brann’s hitbox.

Please nerf it soon, cause Zek’vir post nerf was perfectly balanced for all classes whereas right now only the higher burst classes have even a chance. I’m lookin at you hunters.

If they just nerf it to where all the adds spawn together it would be a lot better

When I did it a few weeks ago it was mainly just ensuring he was moved far enough away from the last pack and against a wall so they spawned together. If he was in center or near his old adds, it would spawn at the newest “clear point”. It seemed pretty clear to me what the strategy was. Granted I would randomly get them spawning in the stands which was weird, but it didn’t seem too crazy. I did it on my uhdk and my priest and both seemed reasonable.

You don’t need DPS for this fight. Most boss damage is done by Brann and Curio’s if you setup correctly for it.

Don’t burst boss at start. With the first wave of adds, use bombs to get them low but don’t kill them. Dps them yourself while they are 40% or less health until you have 2 x bioprint pets from them. Now finish them off with bombs and bring boss to 80% health to trigger first shield. Make sure you talent into a good way to burst every 1 minute for shield (it’s 1 minute between shields after u trigger first one at 80%).

The mechasaur’s and bioprints will basically kill the boss for you and you just kill the shields with some burst. Kick bombs into adds. When boss is low, if you are good at dodging, just focus boss. I had about 15 adds up at the end after i solo’d the last 25% of the boss. Wouldn’t want any more than that though.

Don’t think I’d caller over tuned as much as I’d say it’s mostly down to janky mechanics and moronic Brann. Horrible time either way though.

I find the kickballs unreliable sometimes. I’ve kicked them directly next to the adds and had it fly through them sometimes, and others just drop instantly to the ground when kicking from a short distance that hit with the previous kickball that I used. Then add in Brann’s box getting in the way of trying to click like curios in the dungeons and it is annoying as can be frustrating.

The fight sucks but it’s not overtuned at all.
