I agree. I have not tried binding the interact key, wonder if that would work? Shouldn’t have to, but may be a work around.

they should make so that a kick button appears on the extra action button when you are in front of the bomb. i managed to 1 shot him on ? but it was very annoying trying to interact with the bomb.

You can keybind your interact button to something, so you dont have to actually click it, it will just try to interact with the closest thing.

In ?? they really need to tone down his meele damage he is hitting for 3 M sometimes. Also the fire cone he does is too big in range it needs to be lowered. The placing of the robots why at the start he places them well then at mid fight he starts placing them 1 in a side 3 in the other one or so. The shield needs to be toned down too he shouldnt do it so frecuently. Sometimes brann is dead when he does the shield and you cant break it alone you need brann. the bombs hitbox is also very bad sometimes one kills a whole group sometimes they dont do almost damage even though you kicked it to a robot face.
This fight in ?? needs many fixes. Not just the bad spawning robots at stands.

I kind of wish the bombs would just kick when you run over them. Already an annoyance moving him around and waiting for bombs as it is.

I was using brann as a healer, I’m not home now so I can’t look up the names of the curios but one gave a small buff to stats and the other I don’t remember. I do remember the turret one didn’t seem to work at all.

For the add placement, it would do weird things if he was too close to the burning remains of the last adds. I’m not sure exactly how it works, but it seemed like sometimes if it wanted to create adds to the left, but there was only one open spot, and the next 6 spots were burning remains from previous adds, it would put the other 2 all the way to the left of them.

As long as there’s enough space and you have him at least somewhat close to the wall, the add placement should be good.

Stopped caring about the adds and bombs for the last 30% running around like a crazy person from the bullet hell. And poor Bennett the bear didn’t make it, making that last 5 million or so really make we worried :fearful:

Not even going to try the ?? difficulty, it sounds like there’s some bugs to work out

For the bombs, using the interact action key is mandatory. It’s fairly easy to use. I personally just keybound it to mousewheel. You simply have to face the bomb and be within interact distance to kick the bomb.

For the adds spawn, they can’t spawn on the same spot they already spawned at and spawn relative to where the boss is, so you want to drag the boss along the edge of the arena to ensure the adds always spawn next to one another. By the time you do a full run around the arena, the boss should be close to death and you should focus on him and ignore the adds.
The add spawn seems to carry on between tries, so reset the instance after every wipe.

Mechasaur Curio is broken, as in it does a ridiculous amount of damage. It did 220m damage to the boss with rank 4 of the Curio on my clear.

This. The bombs. I have way too many keybindings to deal as it is. Irritating to force us to rearrange them all for an interact button keybinding that doesn’t even need to be there if the fight was designed appropriately. You should just kick them by running over them. Tired of having to constantly tailor my layout to do encounter by encounter. NOT fun, tedious.

Use an interactive key bind for kicking bombs. Mouse click is so 2004.

The adds that are split up: either kick a faraway ball towards them or stand next to them until a second wave of footballs appear. The bombs appear around you, not the boss.

With the right set up your damage is completely irrelevant on the boss, so focusing down the adds is priority.

Underpin is simply unplayable for the average player. I’ve given a few whirls on ? and after figuring out the mechanics that are required, I left and haven’t gone back.

It’s poorly designed fight.

So a challenging fight not made to be cleared by everyone isn’t clearable by everyone?
The fight is buggy as hell but it’s not poorly designed.

The average player can’t do the harder content in the game, doesn’t make said content poorly designed.

Like Zekvir before him, that’s kinda the point.

everytime I read underpin I always think about min pins.

I (BM hunter) was able to do it on my 2nd attempt in low 620s ilvl (season 1 gear). Fight took a while but was pretty straight forward and predictable. I had healer Brann and he was pretty much eating every AoE and dying on cd.

I fought boss on edge of arena. Most adds would spawn against the wall and near each other so I would AoE them with boss as much as I could, kicking bombs into them whenever possible. Even if you miss some bombs, the adds don’t have that much hp and you can cleave them down before getting overwhelmed.

Pet would die eventually but had enough defensives/pots to tank while I revived each time.

Save damage cooldowns for shield phase.

Rinse and repeat. I know other classes might have a harder time, but this felt easier than Zek’vir. I don’t get all the complaints about how it’s impossible.

?? Has been difficult to push bombs in the right direction with everything happening, bombs become hectic at about 50% or so because I just can’t keep up.

? on the other hand got really annoying as melee, so I just…ignored the bombs and adds at 50 or so % and dodged all I could, since DPS brann for some odd reasons, dodged stuff long enough to help me kill his shield which is all I need him fore.

Always the same crap that kills me every single time, its easy until underpin decides to summon 2 cronies away from the pack LITERALLY ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ARENA 200 YARDS AWAY. Edit: Just beat it after 2 hours of RNG nonsense
