Undermine is the Worst Zone

Zerith Mortis takes that prize… :face_vomiting:

Reminds me of the Goblin’s starting zone. It’s cool.

Just let us D.R.I.V.E on any Zone in the game and ill be happy. Especially the Maw or non-flying areas.

I dunno, it’s hard to like OR hate generic Microsoft screen background the zone…

Korthia and the Maw though… how did they do SO BADLY at designing a hellscape when the Diablo team is a studio down the road?

I mean. I get it

But I think they’d also work together to bring down gal.

Ideally. This also goes into me feeling the story was too much crammed into a tiny space

The story would need to be a lot longer to have additional intragoblin things going on.

darkfuse rep is the only thing left for me.
f those rep bag mounta, I aint coming back.

I don’t hate it. Not my favorite zone but it was OK.

Korthia was OK. The other three are three of my favorites.

Undermine has to be one of my favorites. The music and aesthetic are so goblin. Just wish there was a bit more of it.

I love undermine. The music is great, the zone is consistent with the goblin starting zones, you have little sewer tidbits and best of all, lots of little touches to see and explore.

And doors that open and close. The city feels alive like no other city does in the game.

Overall, for me, a fun zone. Better than Hallowfall by a mile.

i wasn’t feeling the zone either OP. Not my thing at all.

I like zones like Feralas, shimmering flats, Drustvar…kinda mysterious and serene places with lots of secrets, or unique spots. Undermine was too busy, and just overall didn’t feel very good

Shouldn’t we be expecting the Harronir zone soon? :8ball::robot:

Orweyna mentioned she will encounter the Elders (raid?) soon. :world_map::robot:

Korthia was the worst zone.

The Maw is probably the only competition in this list for me. Maw is probably top 3 worst zones, but definitely not higher than Undermine. Bastion was totally fine, not sure why you disliked that one. Korthia wasn’t a great zone but also wasn’t frustrating for me. What’s wrong with Oribos?

I don’t really include Ashran as it was only a PvP zone. Easy to ignore.

Tell us again how you didn’t play shadowlands.

Hold on one minute, let me just remove the sunglasses… and there…

Zone full of nothing but browns, just kinda drab and dull. Basically the opposite of Bastion where everything was so BRIGHT it hurt.

It’s a giant boring circle.

There was an entire weak aura designed to make that zone and its dungeons not so bright.

Wowzers.

ironically, oribos is my favorite expansion city ever for literally that reason.

i have a thing for circles and symmetry.

it made sense to me storywise why it would be like that as well. but i also 100% understand people hating it.

I honestly kinda like it. It feels refreshing to have a nice small zone after all these new huge expansive areas. Rare elite hunting is amazing in Undermine too, I love not having to fly a million miles away just to fight a miniboss

Big fan, easily in my top 5. I love the aesthetic and big crowded city feel. It feels more lived in than other places, I like the side stories and the raid is really fun.

Undermine is, thematically, one of the best zones we’ve ever gotten.

Like, the music in the raid (and Floodgate) itself is a full 10 out of 10.

If I haven’t heard the goblin combat music in a while, I end up listening to it myself.

That’s the sign of good music, lol.

Ironically it’s a tossup between Undermine and Valdrakken for me, just purely from a tourist perspective. Well and Tazavesh whenever 11.2 gets here.
